Serious (but probably stupid) question for everyone: is there a US equivalent of the Russian test skates? I know there are various summer camps/exhibitions but am wondering if there's a similar centralized event for American skaters.

Champs Camp is the closest I can think of. I think it happens much later in the summer though, correct me if I am wrong.
