Macii is retiring and will become a coach while Conti is looking for a new partner.

Macii: "I decided a year ago, on a physical level I was starting to suffer and especially at thirty I realized that it was the right time to build something different, at the end of August I will get married and I want to become a father, and then embark on a path as a coach in our sport".

Conti: "I have been out for two and a half months due to a knee injury. Once back on the ice, I decided that I hadn't given everything, I feel I still have something to give and the strength to start from scratch. I still don't know who will be the person who will support me, but I will continue as a couple."

As for Sara, something tells me Marco Zandron didn't just walk away from the partnership with Geynish for nothing.

Actually both were heading in these directions in their September interview to Pirouette Magazine.

So did I. They had their personal issues and injuries over the years but always put forward their best
as a pair team. I am so happy for them that they got Team Bronze at the Olympics it was a
perfect ending to their partnership on the ice. Good luck to both of them in their future endeavors.

I've always enjoyed their partnership. I remember how much I enjoyed them at Sk Can 2022. All the best to Niccolo in his new endeavors, and I look forward to seeing Sara with a new partner.

I will also miss Niccolo's very animated moments in the K&C, when he would acknowledge his family & friends' support!
