Sasha on the Today Show

Sasha was on the Today show this morning around 8:40 am or so. She skated to Hurt. I am kind of sick of this program. And it wasn't the fully program as it only lasted for a minute and a half or so. She was not interviewed or anything. Just wanted to let you guys know.

The Today Show skaters rarely get to skate their whole program.

Sasha was on to promote Kurt's Gotta Skate... right?

The host mentioned that Gotta Skate was on NBC on November 11th and Sasha was on three of the skating show on NBC. That was the promotion. Sasha was not interviewed or anything. Apparently, according to her journal she is on again tomorrow skating her christmas program.

I always thought that the SOI cast rehearses in that state. Does anyone know where they practice?

They rehearse the show in Lake Placid, NY. Rehearsals start next week.

If she is going to be on tomorrow again, they will likely interview her then. What's the point of doing two separate interviews. They could have been running late today and decided to skip the interview also, but I think that they just bumped the interview until tomorrow.

Last week they had the US Men's curling team on and they interviewed them briefly and then they showed Maria M. how to throw the curling rock. What was funny was that they started in the bulleyes area and skated the rock to the other end. Clearly wrong. Oh well.

Next week, High School Musical... which will be a good lead into Kristi's appearance on the 16th. She had Corbin Bleu as one of her performers.

Is she on the SHOW tomorrow, or just at the center?

Then on Saturday I come back to Rockefeller Center and skate my Christmas program. At least that one is about 1:30 in the afternoon. “It’s to ‘Winter Wonderland’ and I’ve got a beautiful red and sparkling dress I will wear.

Last time I checked, the today show was a morning show.

according to her SITE she's on tomorrow. but according to her JOURNAL she's not on...she's going to be skating there in the afternoon. Conflicting info, not a first.

it happens... things change, miscommunication happens...

the San Fransico 49ers' website had a lot of wrong info on it at the beginning of the season this year... I gave up waiting for them to fix the problem *sigh*

go figure. I'd take her journal word for it first, since supposedly she herself wrote that, and barring a change in scheduling I assume she knows when she's doing what, lol.

I believe this month she's skating in Atlantic City with the music of Sarah Brightman, so maybe she's on the east coast for a while?

Sasha also performed on the (Saturday) TODAY Show, 11/3. This was shown at 8:45 A.M. (Eastern). She was wearing a red dress and skated to, "Winter Wonderland." There was a very brief interview where she plugged SOI and the upcoming Clay Aiken show.

Her Journal entry also mentions being at Rock Center at 1:30 P.M. on the 3rd. Still wonder what that is all about.
