Off-ice training is important as well. I think there are many strengthening exercises that she can do to protect her hip in the future. Older athletes often say that they don't train as much as they used to but that the training is more valuable because they know their bodies better. Sometimes less is more, the body needs time to heal/adapt after tough training sessions. Finding the right training balance is a process.I don't think she needed the exaggerated number of runthroughs in the first place (her practice time was twice as longer as Marin's according to coach Hamada)... it's a sad situation but I hope it will also be a lesson for the future. Maybe she can work on speed and steps before she'll be allowed to jump again.

but Satoko withdrawing was the right choice, considering she still felt hurt. My Tiny Queen, I hope she'll make a full recovery and be on top form for the next season!
Apologize for the nonsense folks
) will serve as Olympics qualifiers too. Does this mean Japan can still earn one more spot if the ladies can perform well? If so, and hopefully Satoko is back with a blazing vengeance in the ring (i really hope she can heal and return with even greater achievements and consistency than ever tgat will ultimately bring her to the Olympics podium
), then hopefully Japan can still earn that one last spot?
Although it will be good as it give chances for skaters from more countries to compete at the Olympics.
