Senior men's been very exciting event. We will see if our ladies can match up..

Oh yes she does. There's that $100 bet that her and her coach have going. If Joannie lands it, she gains the money, if not, then...

So, there is a bit for her to lose here by not doing it.

Haha, I'd LOVE to see her do it! The combo looked so comfortable for her in the Skate Canada SP warm-up where she landed 3 of them. She should just treat the SP here as a practice and go full out with that 3+3. There should be very little pressure on her at this event. I mean, obviously, she wants to skate clean for herself, but she's clearly unchallenged here if she skates anywhere close to what she's capable of.

There was another URL from which non-Canadians could watch the CBC online Skate Canada broadcast last fall, but it stopped working before the competition ended. I'll try to look for the original thread where it was shared here since I'm curious to see if it'll work again.

spiral, nice carriage,

great use of music in between elements,
2a overrotated, arrghhh.
deathdrop spin,
some half decent step sequence,
combination spin, losing balance, compromising the speed as a result
