Senior Mens SP

He did. He didn't medal but he landed a quad at TEB.

Crap...I totally missed that....good for him!!!! I saw him at COI last year, and he was so enthusiastic and a real crowd pleaser. I'm glad to see him do well....even if I'm still crying over Rohene. So, here's a shout out for ALL the men with a special extra loud SHOUT OUT for Rohene!!!!

wesley cambell - well...I don't like pink dresse on the men:biggrin:..but he has got black pants ...

3ltz - 3toe - niceee
3axel - fell
3flip - very nice...

he skated to some really nice music, violin..I know it, but I don't know the name of it...65.53 - 7th

Johnny will have to follow Evan again in the LP, just like last year. Skate order for the LP is reverse order of standings from the SP.

Sounds good to me. Let's repeat 2007!!!!

Wow!! Great for Ryan!! :)

Yeah, glad to hear he is having another good Nationals after a rougher fall, but yeah, a session with Branden would not hurt.

p.s where is Nick LaRoche???? has he withdrawn?

cocovica, thank you so much! You've done a great job!!!!! What could we do without your reports? Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stepehn Carrier... Strong overall... a turn-out of the 3axel, but very nice 3flip-3toe and 3 lutz, plus very good levels on spins and footwork

stephan carriere - really nice guitar cover of something I know but don't know the name again :)

wow...I really liked it.. nice presentation.. lots of energy...
3axel - steped out (am I right, or fell out?)
3flip-3toe - wonderful, spead, nice landing
3lutz - wonderful

really nice jumping...and I liked also the footwork..nice choreografy...76.66 - 3rd!!!

Wow, great for Carriere --- I somehow think he's one of Joe's favs.....the LP is aleady heating up!!!!

Nick didn't qualify. He was 5th at Pacific Coast.

Stephen Carriere's program was so beautifully choreographed! Every note was set. Absolutely stunning. :)

you're kidding. I was so looking foward to seeing him. Is this it for him then? I know he is coaching at the Toyota Sports center. maybe he will offically retiire next season. too bad. I really like watching him skate.

geoffry varner - art on ice by edvin marton (absoluttely adore this music!!!) - nice costume..

3flip-3toe
3axel - strange in the air, but landed it...
3lutz - fight for the landing little bit, but solid...
nice nergy but not the best presentation for me...

he was 17. last year..wow! this year it will be much better I guess...65.40 - 9th...

cocovica - thanks once again for all of your descriptions and for keeping us in the loop!!!! I'll be off to bed soon....but really, really, really am so greatful to you!!!!!!!

Geff Varner: 3-axel, a little wild, 3flip-3toe, and 3 lutz. he was very happy after the performance , 9th place overall

I thought usfsa competitions still used randon draw for free skate and only ISU events used reverse order??

Eliot Halverson: Very nice style and georgeous edges, very fluid over the ice. 2-axel, 3lutz-3toe, the toe was ur and landed backwards, with a fall out. 3 lutz good. he fell out of nowhere in the middle of the performance :(

I was wondering it. This should explain the last year when Johnny skated after Evan because Johnny's SP score was a bit lower than Evan's.

Last year it was just random draw (and bad luck for Weir), but the new NBC contract requires reverse order of placements for the free skate.

the last one...halverson

2axel
3lutz-2toe- fell out of it (said the commentator, so Am right...HA!:biggrin:)
3flip - nice landing!
but he then fell on his footwork, that was really nice...but I liked it..it was nice..but only the jumps are missing...he is totally excited to be at nationals..can't stop smiling - 56.03 - 17th...but still smiling at it

I wish I was kidding! The worst part is that 4th place was Doug Razzanno -- and he shouldn't have even had to skate because he ended up going to the JGP Final after this other guy withdrew, but he didn't find out until too late. So if Doug hadn't had to skate, Nick would have been 4th and would be in St. Paul right now. :(
