Senior Pairs FS

First download the program JLC's Internet TV. I don't have the url anymore, but just google it. It's free.

Install, get the channel list and then go to KPVI-TV(NBC). There are other NBCs, but this is the one I'm watching.

Oh, John proposed to Rena on the ice... how cute;)

Hey, I also get a login thing. And my Korean is zero! I don't know what to do! :disapp:

You open Daum 1st and then go to the 3rd bookmark (to the right of UCC).

yes, I know what to do! I watched there some streams yet.. but when I click on the link of nationals I get some login table or somethin'...what then? thank you for your help...

I didn't have a login table. It might be a different link. Or, they want you to download an extra component for Daum.

Um, I'm pretty sure both I/B & C/O are going to World's. US can send 2 pairs.

Oh, thanks, I almost forget the champions are underaged kids..

I&B are also very strong for their seaonable debut. Baldwin landed that freaking 3T! I prefer their SP better though...

Great to watch the 4 skates they showed. I must say that I really was suprisingly impressed with how much I liked I/B's LP (haven't seen the short yet)....but the whole proposal thing made me like...WHAT????? I do hope they have many happy years together.

Thanks, it works!

Nice to have an exta option.

Does anyone know the final results? According to NBC only five couples skated and the USFSA has nothing up.
Anyone know the actual final standings of ALL the pairs who skated?

You know, I can't think of anything more romantic than purposing to someone after you've just put down a good example of what you're spending your life doing together. I really can't. I'm so happy I got to watch it unspoiled. I think Rena and John's skating has taken a step up too.
Though even so, I hope they decide to take 4CC off so Evora and Ladwig can go. I'll really feel for them otherwise; they will have barely missed that team, and you have to admire their ability to fight.

Evora/Ladwig are fifth, behind Vise/Trent. No guarantee that they would be asked to go to 4CC.

They'll be asked if one of the teams ahead of them turns it down, since M&B can't go, but I don't think C&O will, since Detroit teams usually don't, and obviously Vise and Trent will go.

I thought Rene and John had been married for years! I thought, what is he saying, let's go renew our vows?

Yes, yes, I did, too! Til he went down on his knee, then I realized I had been wrong all those years.

It was sweet. Rena usually shows so little emotion after their skates, but she got quite teary.

Protocols are up for both the Sr. Pairs SP & LP - you scroll past all the SP's, and there the LP's are:

I'm impressed that at their ages, John & Rena can make so many changes to their skating-they've flattened out the DS to the European mode (required now in the new version of the rules this year), they're entering the 3Lp throw from a spiral now, and 2 of their 3 lifts have changed. They've added extra positions in the air. Man, that's a lot of work for 2 programs new in 2 weeks! And she got most of the credit for the 3Ath-they got only -1.4 on GOE and full credit for the rotation.

They've been a couple for years, but she has always shied away from marriage.

I wonder whether they'll retire now? It's his 20th nationals, which is a milestone, but on the other hand, Worlds next year is in California, where they live.-how can they resist?

I think this program will look better the next time we see it--it wasn't as smooth and polished as the SP, particularly in the lifts and footwork.
