The magic about Loco for me was, hating it at first. Dreading having to watch him skate this program a whole season, hoping they would think again about if this was really the right music choice for him. And then being completely proven wrong by having him own it and getting better, and better and better each time.

This is my favorite program of theirs by an absolute mile.

When they skated this, I felt like they would be one of the legendary greats. It didn't pan out that way (or it hasn't so far), but this program was masterful.

Oddly enough, I can't remember many tangos done in pairs at all. They seem to be pretty rare. Perhaps not that surprising, as it's easier to execute pair elements to music that is smooth and flowy rather than "sharp" and staccato.

Ilyushechkina & Moskovitch's "Tango Jalousie" was quite lovely: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nnukek-9es0 (I just wish Lubov's dress was a bit more... fierce XD ).

Pang & Tong "Oblivion / A los Amigos" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivik6eerXUQ (This program had great potential; such awesome moments in the footwork section. Sadly, it wasn't very polished here yet as they missed the GP season and they switched the program for Worlds )

Stolbova & Klimov "Tango de Besame" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8Tsn9YcSkI (Not a big fan of the music, but they have a nice feeling for tango. I think a less heavy/dreary tango selection would be a good fit for them )

My favorites have already been mentioned -- Mao's "Por Una Cabeza" and Shoma's "Loco", complete with screaming woman. Shoma's total commitment to the program and the way the program grew and improved throughout the season were a joy to watch.

I love tangos. Most tangos make me happy. I like the ones in Dance the most. I loved G/P's blue Tango last year.
