I know someone, who went to The Ice in Nagoya too. Didn't hear back from her yet. Maybe I'll detect her on the broadcast, I'm sure she had her d1sk banner with her.
Of course I continue to be incredibly jealous of the huge amount of shows you're attending.What I would give to see that Mao tribute medley live! Once again thank you for sharing your experience with us.

synesthesia, no no, just TV. I watched him wearing the T-shirt I gave him last time. The postcard is Shoma wearing the costume with photocopied autograph.
I asked local fans why they don't call name directly at all. They said it's normal, locally. Only woo or wow, not name. Okay, I learned their culture, next time I'll say woo & wow instead. Mao & Dai got big woo & wow in this show. At the finale, we needed to dance with the skaters, so I and others, not all audience, went down to the nearest part of Arena to dance together...was fun!! Shoma did well! of course between us & the skaters there's a small wall.
Yes Shoma wore the purple lavender costume yesterday. Another show's for 'Arsoa member', not Mao fan club, Arsoa's a skincare product company supporting Mao. Shoma & Dai're guests, I wanted to go but I'm not a member..(>_<)
I'll go FOI, so it's difficult to decide No.1 yet. but you know, other fans attended all days of all shows!! I'm not such, hehe.

Is he going to Canada? I thought he was going back to Chicago? Maybe both...
I have been to THE ICE almost every year since 2008. It's the best ice show for me, always feel homelike atomosphere. But this year was so special, especially the last show in Nagoya. Lots of tears were there. There were a few suprises. Earo (Mao's dog), Lori Nichol and her son joined in the talk show as supecial guests. After finale, Japanese skaters skated to Bells of Moscow as suprise present to Mao. Takahiko, Daisuke, Nobunari, Akiko and Takahito did step sequences and Shoma the final spin (no Biellmann, but to Hair Cutter position).

Chukyo TV uploaded short video of Mao's message to the skaters in finale on Chuun. They will upload the talk shows there, too.

Shoma's Winter in the last show was great (4T, 4T, 3A and great spins). Standing ovations from most of the audiences including Lori and her son. Chukyo TV is planning to broadcast THE ICE from 2nd show, where he had fall on 4T. I hope they will show Winter in the last show. They surely recorded.

Pity that the TV clip edited out Shoma doing the haircutter. You think there's any chance he'll include it in his competitive program(s)?

A very good one. I am particularly impressed with what he said about expression, and about jumps being a part of that 'expressivity'.
And I like his attitude towards the new Turandot, the fact that he considers it a completely new program.
