Oh, I actually did forget that Boyang wasn’t skipping it. With all the different athletes skipping or simply not nominated to 4CC, I forgot he planned on going. Sorry about that. I hope things will go well.

I was thinking the same, idontknow. US National's finished, there's a possibility that he'd go somewhere for the intensive training program. whatever, will see, he'll do his best both in 4cc, Oly and World

Don't forget his charming baby face. I do think that most of figure skaters have nice looks, but Shoma has something special differentiating from other skaters. I can see why so many colleague skaters adore him. He is quite and somewhat shy off the ice, but his total transformation on ice and sincere commitment to music are what makes him very special. Even when I was not a fan of him, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. He has a great presence on ice despite his small figure. I was foolishly resisting myself to admit that I was drawn to his skating (I always love skaters with deep edges such as Shoma's) because I previously decided to root for other men, lol. Then I changed my mind to be honest. I can root for them at the same time. Shoma is among those that I hope to see winning an Olympic medal even gold.

Irresistible, isn't he? [emoji6] His upper body-arms, hands and fingers are very expressive, whether the fingers are splayed out or drawing you in. Plus the head movements too. Even in his ex This Town (Sk Canada version), I noticed his fingers when he got up off the ice and touched the ground were very gentle, almost like they were caressing and saying goodbye to the ice, instead of him using his hand to push off the ice and stand. His hands and fingers during that particular ex seemed very expressive and gentle (appropriate to the music), I thought it was the best version of the program that he skated. [emoji4]

Well, 4CC is not that far away, but it seems to be a long time from now. Excited to see Shoma, and of course hoping everyone does well (Boyang, Keiji, Han yan, Mura as well). Excited to see Denis Ten and Misha Ge too! I was hoping to see Michael Christian Martinez, but I didn't see him on the list. I hope Shoma's practices, away from the media spotlight (best way to practice, really), are going well. Just a few weeks left!

Welcome to Shoma's FF. If you take the time to read through this thread you will realize we are not a rude group here.
We are first and foremost figure skating fans. Shoma may be our favorite but we don't purposefully throw shade on other skaters.

How can I forget?! Though a little less baby nowadays. I'm glad that I became a fan almost instantly before I had really seen his face because I would never believe myself that I actually like his skating not just his very handsome face! Good that you stopped resisting!

Thanks for reminding about that! Had to go watch that performance again (not that I need a lot of encouragement...) and it really is a beautiful performance. Shoma at his finest!

Arriba, many Japanese fans said so, so just wanted to know anyone saw him there..For instance, TV program first showed Satoko & Shoma's their 20th ceremony but suddenly his name's disappeared. I was in California for only 5 days. The weather was awesome, and it felt great to go without a coat. But back to reality now after enjoying a wonderful U.S. Nationals. I pretty much disappeared off of the Forum because I couldn't stand what people were writing! (mostly in the competition threads)...We're having a heat wave (?) here now -1C, but it's going back to -17C soon. Darn. It would have been good weather for the Prince...The Kit Kat count is down to 8. I guess I should save them for the Olympics!

I really do miss that handsome face! Keep the cat photos coming!
