I’m exhausted, because I went to the Japan Nationals men’s SP.
I almost fainted when I looked 6 min practice.:palmf:
Arriba, I think Shoma is a bad guy because he worries us so much.
I was so moved in his beautiful performance today.
I hope he is not injured.
Thank you, Shoma.
And well done, Dai-chan.
:dbana::dbana::dbana:

^^^jerrymouse, I would be a wreck from nerves! You got to see a good performance though, AND a new costume! It looked beautiful on the ice. He was definitely in full bulldozer mode. Glad he has a little bit of a cushion going into the FS, and I hope we see another good performance from him! :yahoo:

It was great seeing Uncle Dai out there and so happy with his results.

Oh you are so lucky jerrymouse! Glad you got to see Sho's SP skated so beautifully and clean and
to see such a good performance from Dai-chan. I am jealous! :)

He sure was in bulldozer mode. He sure lived up to his nickname bestowed upon him by Uncle Dai.

I'm crying now honestly I am. Shoma, why do you have to be so darn.... macho??? He hates to show his weakness and he'll do whatever it takes to get the job done, even if it hurts him. I hate and love him so much for both arhghghhsdd

You should know by now that Shoma is a fighter.:) We only have to look at last years Worlds where he was injured and there was talk of
withdrawal but Sho said he never contemplated withdrawal. He competed at about 30% and some would say embarrassed himself which is BS
what he did was really telling of his character. He showed sheer determination and true sportsmanship and I will never forget that performance from him.

I cant ever forget that performance at Worlds too, though it is very hard for me to watch it again because he was in such pain 😭
And one can expect nothing less than 100% from him though I do wish he would learn to pull back a bit, and then come back stronger when he is healthier. I want to see him have a long career and not burn out so fast! (kinda a selfish fan wish haha).
Then the media interview he had after the nationals SP kinda make me think the injury he had during the warm up isn't so minor.. but i'm really hoping that's just the worrywart in me talking.

... i'm really just going to spend the next couple of days offering my best skating souvenirs to the Skating God in exchange for a pair healthy legs for Shoma 😂

What a fighter! :yahoo: I too was so worried about his possible injury during 6min warm-up then had to skate first in the group... But Shoma was ON FIRE. What an electrifying intensity performance. Great job done!:clap::clap:

Many congrats for winning SP, and good luck in the Free. Good for him is he has one more day till Free skate. Rest well first, please, Shoma.

Well done Shoma! :luv17: I'm so happy for him putting out that performance I know he's been wanting, and it was great. Sheer grit and determination from Shomajesty!

Now rest up before Monday's free skate Shoma, and please be healthy

Amazing job from Shomita! It was making me so nervous the way he was grimacing! Then when he seemed to lose control of the knee slide -- arrrrghhhh! :hpull: But he managed to hang in there like a champ. Hope he is able to rest up a little before the free. The new costume looked great!

Lovely to see, and for him to break the 100 barrier again (I admit, I was hoping he'd break 105, I think for the first time? but that will come!)

Very very wise decision to skip the official practice today. Sincerely wish he's ok. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Looks like The Tree has been busy with his book signing at the Chacott store in Osaka! He thanks people for coming and for the many gifts he received. Great Christmas gift. I want a copy too!

I like the outfit, I suspect it’s mama Uno’s work, she is a great stylist.

Merry Christmas everyone! :ghug:
Go Shoma, have another fabulous skate tomorrow and get back to top form soon! That would be the perfect Christmas gift.
