I'm already thinking of the huge number of U.S. fans who will be so disappointed if he doesn't come to 4CC in California. But maybe he needs to think about himself for once! He has been going, going, going for so long. A little bit of rest might be nice. Amazing performance considering he was hurt! :gclap:
ADDING -- I see he was given 4CC, along with Worlds. Please Shoma kun, be sure you're ready!

Yesssssss, congrats Shoma, you really showed what you're made of!! :clapper: I know how incredibly strong he is but I'm still taken by surprise every time. Now heal that ankle properly, I hope he doesn't think about skating at the gala.

Our brave, brave warrior prince! He's so strong, he shines so bright, and really, he deserves all the rest, the meat and the love in the world 
Congrats for the third National Japanese title and season best! Despite the risk of worsening his injury, I think this competition was really good on the mental side and I'm so so proud of him. We're blessed to be his fans!

I'm quite speechless over what Shoma was capable of under these adverse circumstances - after sustaning an injury mere minutes before he took the ice for his SP two days ago. Just...wow! He was once again head and shoulders above everyone else! Congrats on your very deserved third title, Sho! And thank you for giving us such cute moments on the podium together with uncle Dai and your good buddy Keiji!

He received very big standing ovations today and the day before yesterday.
I’m very proud of our Prince.
He is a real man and he never escapes.
I think he could hear a lot of cheering from the DBC members.

It was bitter and sweet two days for me.
I really want to see his gala, but it must be difficult.

You probably need to rest just as much as Shoma! :yawn: 
Yes I was thinking maybe he needs to consider his health to ensure that his career on ice will go on for much longer in the future, even if it means competing a bit less (and having people see him a bit less) for now. I mean, he injured his ankle and did all that jumps during nationals - I'd hate to know how much it hurts. That cute waddling out onto the podium in his sneakers softens the fact that his ankle hurts just to put on the skates. Shoma, remember you're a human made of soft tissues and not literally a metal bulldozer!!
Even the best needs to take time off to heal (i.e Yuzuru)
Then again maybe he has the power to literally heal himself in days, judging from what he said here
