I definitely have costumes on the brain today! Don't know why! I love Sho's Caron costumes. I think they're really beautiful and classy and really suit him. I am definitely partial to Satomi Ito's work though! Some of these costumes just take my breath away, they're so beautiful. I guess I love all the stones and the beading!

Ahhh, love love her work! I did not know her name although she has worked with so many familiar skaters.
And I am really fond of watching rhythmic gymnastics... It turned out ome of my favorites' costumes are done by her!

Hmmm. 3A (8.0) + 3T (4.2) = 12.2 4F (11.0) + 2T (1.3) = 12.3 If he could get the 3T, it would be 15.2. Pretty ambitious if he's doing this on tired legs. Sigh. I think I'd try for the 3A + 3T. He used to do a beauty with that combo on the Loco violin screech. I loved that!

Every time I heard that screech, I got excited that I knew what was coming.

Sho's landings in that video seemed to be pretty solid with lots of glide. I don't know how he does this at such a high level by himself (except for FaceTime with Stepen). I'm assuming that if the GPF start order goes by GP rankings, Shoma skates after Nathan and possibly Vincent (they're tied but don't know if there is a tie-breaker for start order) and before Yuma, so he'll know what he has to go for in the way of adding the triple to the quad to rack up the points. It's a numbers game but he used to just go for everything so we'll see.

I realize the start order is ranked but just for the sp and then the fs order is based on the score of sp. Thanks for clarifying the tie break for the sp. It should be exciting from start to finish!

How on earth does Shoma stay asleep when dogs are playing on him? He really deserves a gold medal in sleeping.

I doubt Shoma is sleeping. He has his head wrapped so he doesn't end up with scratches on his face when they walk all over him. They really are fun little pups. Baron listens really well when mama Uno calls him. Impressive.

So looking forward to the Grand Prix final. Look how far Shoma has come in the last two years. He's where he should be, at the top.

Oops, double-checked the subtitles, it seems like Mama Uno broke the glass (though I'm not sure if Itsuki knows this for sure)! I knew I shouldn't have trusted my first impression.

The subtitles really do say that Shoma's sleeping! The clothes are good dog protection, though.

I am indeed concerned about whether the Grand Prix Final will be held or not, but we'll know soon enough. As long Shoma faces his next tournament with enough determination, I think he'll do well.
