Yep, twitter is saying he debuted Turandot at PIW today. Apparently it has new music cuts and choreography comparatively to his 2015-2016 version. He wore the Dead Chicken costume, which I sincerely hope is just a placeholder costume
laugh2. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new music cuts are, because maybe he'll have chosen less used parts of Turandot?Here's a tweet with the jump layout he used today. I'm sure that first 3A is a placeholder for the 4Lz.
Edit: I just noticed he is actually planning 3 quads in the second half and after some calculations, Shoma's potential BV if he adds the 4Lz, with 5 quads, is 112+!

I've seen a couple of tweets about it too! People are reporting that he's using a different version with new cuts and choreography and that he performed many jumps in the 2nd half! And that he wore the infamous chicken costume. :scard7: Rumoured jump layout: 3A, 3LO, 3A, 3F, 4T, 4T, 3A, 3S. (Is this a hint at an intended 5 quad layout? :eeking

His lips....they are cute...but chapped...poor baby. 
If I ever get to throw a present on ice it won't be plush, but a collection of lip-balm.
Will there be a tv version of PIW? I would love to see the new Turandot. I can't help it but after Marin announced she also skates to Turandot I was a bit down. It is soooo overused, it's too much. But then I rewatched his Turandot from 2015 and I'm still in love with that program. And then he was still a bit juniorish. It can be such a good vehicle. If he lands all these quads. Seems impossible right now, but what do we know. He's improved so much during the last season, never say never with Shoma, I guess.

Thanks everyone for the recent updates! Shomajesty is looking quite fabulous and fit! He is such a cutie!

Just to put everyone at ease, if even temporarily, it didn't say in the Japanese tweet that was shown that he was injured, it just seemed to say he only started practicing turandot last week.

Most skaters probably sprain something on a regular basis. It's possible it's just the kind of injury that needs some rest not to aggravate. It shouldn't be too worrying or he wouldn't still be doing all these shows. But Shoma, babes, hope you're resting properly!

SO happy there is Winter Prince news today. I always start to get No Shoma Newsitis. Wow, he is looking really good! 
A couple thoughts:
Woodorf I heard one time Shoma was asked "You are loved by everyone, right?" His answer was translated as "No, I am not so adored." I remember thinking, GOOD! Let him live a normal life, not a life where he is a prisoner of his fame.
Can't wait to see how Turandot develops. I'm sure he still has a lot of work to do with it. While in Chicago, I only heard him playing the music once - not enough to get a good sense of cuts, differences, etc. I do remember the singer in the vocal part was different...If he was injured in Chicago, he had me fooled. I probably saw him do at least 30 quads. As always, he did some gorgeous jumps, and he also took some brutal falls. I would guess it was a sprain or something of that nature. I always cringe though when I hear the word injury.
I expect to see a lot of changes in the choreography. But I still melt every time I see the 2015 B ESP version of the GPF skate. Oh my gosh, the comments of "He's unstoppable" and "All stand please for Shoma Uno" still make me so happy! What a gutsy performance from someone skating his first year as a senior! And great K & C with him and Fluffy!...No panic on the costume (yet!

I have already thought about taking several lip balms to throw on the ice at Skate Canada, but he must have 500 tubes of it already! Stop biting your lips Shomita! You need to get them into beautiful, kissable shape!

Well, it is better than dead chicken even though it's a onesie .Thanks for the link! He looked so intense in the clip. And a very deep cantilever. Can't wait to see more! :hap85:
