I not sure if this have been posted before, I seen cut of the TV footage before, but not the full video. This link is for the full video.

The video is about Miki Ando explaining about figure skating; rather than about rule, its more of fluff pieces of figure skating/ figure skater. There are Shoma footage all over the place. What interest me for this video:
1. Fluff pieces of character of figure skater; Shoma is the main character analysis using old interview footage (Yuzu; the prince, Javi; the gentlemen/funny character, Sergei: the adult sexiness, Daisuke: the ero sexy)
2. Nagoya figure skater (Sota Yamamoto, and Mako Yamashita), also Shoma & Asado Mao talking about each other
3. Lady figure skater makeup.
Its a fun video, but i cant really give translation as i not speaking japanese, only understanding minimal japanese from years and years of worshiping japanese idol and drama.

I think this is Nagoya local TV and the program is directed to beginner fans, so it does not go deep into anything. People who have been watching this thread for a while will have all the knowledge.

Shoma’s footage in the beginning is a makeover of his interview hosted by Hikaru Ijuin with Itsuki. Miki Ando introduces Shoma as an example of “unique character”.

I think there was a summary of Shoma in the Ijuin interview in this thread. The rest of the program you really don’t need to understand Japanese to enjoy.

Everyday Shoma is introduced, and then the trivia. Marin Honda is introduced as representative Japanese Beauty skater (really??);, the costumes are passed on the girls do their own makeup, the exhibition.

The lady guest is Haruhi Ryoga, a former Takarazuka student (male role) and the latter half of the show is of her talking about similarities between Takarazuka theatre and what she likes about figure skating. She thinks Yuzuru is so cute and and Daisuke is so sexy and gushes about them. ..

I have seen Takarazuka stage many times, and I frankly don’t get the point. Haruhi is just acting like a fan girl.

I most enjoyed the part about Adam Rippon singing karaoke in the exhibition.

Takarazuka is a stage school consisting of all unmarried females. Half of them are trained to play the male role. The male role always lead.

Once the comp is over, I'd appreciate A LOT for some first hand reports on his performances be dropped here if possible, since I can't log into comp threads anymore... :bow:

Can’t wait for his SP, thank god it’s at an ok hour for me, I’m keeping my fingers crossed and sending all the good energy. It looked good in practice yesterday, the FS is the one I’m a bit worried about, but that’s nothing new :laugh:
