Shoma Uno: 2014-2024

Honestly, I think Shoma is a fighter, not a magician. He fights and fights at maximum intensity until the very end of his performances. That's what makes him special.

Kurt Browning called him a magician , so maybe he's both?! "Shomagical" has a nice ring to it.

If no one found his skating appealing, they wouldn't watch it. I'll be pleased for him when he gets everything in order and hits a combined +300 again. Ankle healing first. Without your health you have nothing.

I’m very late for the party.
I attended JNats men’s SP, ladies FS, and men’s FS.
I was exhausted but I really enjoyed the competition.

Isn't this video soothing? I hoped Shoma would be relaxing and the puppies and his family are helping him do just that. If we didn't see a NYE video of him roller skating, I would be okay with that given they have provided so much joyful images this year.

Happy New Year to all of the Shoma fandom and especially to Shoma, Itsuki, the Uno's and of course the 3 musketeers! Thanks for an amazing year and looking forward to the next chapters in Shoma's skating career and sharing it with so many faithful fans.

Before, the team event Men FS was Feb.7, and indivisual men SP was Feb.8.
But now, the official shows team Men FS is Feb.6. Do you know?

It is official, but I am not sure if it is true (simple mistake?). So far, JP media is silent.
If it's true, it will be so helpful for men skaters...

Kazuki was right about Shoma in a video he was in on Shoma’s channel. Shoma really does say things that move you. I don’t know him personally and I probably will never meet him but I can see it in his eyes what a gentle, compassionate, strong man he is. He is more than just his skating. I support him because I want to and I’ll support him no matter what. The world needs more people like him.

Hmm, I see that the men's team event free skate is now on the 5th, with the men's individual short program now on the 7th and the men's individual free program now on the 9th. I think they just moved everything one day earlier.

This might benefit Shoma though, the 9th will be three years to the day since he won 4CC!

If you happen to come across a schedule, can you post it? I put all kinds of stuff on my calendar, but I think I wrote it in terms of the NBC tv schedule. Now I think everything I wrote is wrong!!!!

Ahaha! For me, I want 1 day interval between team men free and ind.men sp. US, JP, RU,,, some countries' skaters have to skate SP next day of FP. It is quite tough and disadvantage.

@Arriba627 , US Nationals will be held as planned? Now I have read Canadian Nationals will be held under no-spectators. It is a relief at least it is not cancelled.

@hamaguri as of now, U.S. Nats are going ahead as planned. We all received an email that proof of vaccination is required for entry to the arena. In my mind, that's a good thing. We'll see what happens! I feel like they can't cancel the competition, but they can make it no audience.
