What a performance. Sooooo very happy for him and stepen and Demi-San. Having a hard time believing this actually happened. He will always be a world champion.

I heard that. Adorable little jump.I had a feeling Shoma might change his costume here... The same goes for him conserving his energy for the runthrough. Save that energy, Shoma! Also, I was the one squealing at the split flip!

I just don't have words right now. I still have tears in my eyes - it just came together at the exact right time, at the exact right place Following him these last 3 years feels like a privilege. His whole journey with the extreme lows and the extreme highs, all culminating here... Just amazing. Thank you Shoma, for every time you stood up, for every time you continued after falling

And this is not the end!! This is the beginning of his second life as a skater! The path is still continuing
And no way I'm gonna miss out on what's happening next!

^^^^ I saw that and thought how great is that. It reminded me of the way Shoma was intensely cheering for Nathan in the green room during Nathan’s free program and then came the hug. Good stuff

I saw Shooms at his first World Championship in 2016. I've been waiting a long time for this moment and couldn't be happier. He's always been the gold medalist in my heart, and today the dream became reality. Not a perfect skate today, but that's ok. We already saw the perfect skate in the short. The energy in the building was amazing. All the skaters got great applause from the crowd, but I felt that his was the loudest. I'm still finding it hard to express myself because I'm such a bundle of emotions!!!! So he has chased away the curse of his France 2019 IdF and replaced it with a France gold medal triumph.
Kudos to him for keeping up his energy and training hard after the afterglow of the Olys. Thank you to Stephane for believing in him, challenging him, knowing how to help him peak, and for motivating him. To Hama-san for being a great manager. To Demi-san for taking such good care of him and providing friendship along with physical therapy. To Mr. Hachiguchi for his expertise with his skates. To Mom, Bill, and
for always being there for him. To Toro, Emma, Baron, and An for entertaining and comforting him. Bottom line, he has a great support team.
Just occurred to me that as champion, he gets to give his preferences for the Gr Prix series first, and they try to give him what he asks for. Is it too early to hope for North America?! Ok, I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm so happy. I can't wait to see what's next in his journey -- and I'm there for it! Congratulations Shomajesty! A huge group hug for you from all your fans!

I can only hope the roller coaster ride continues! As long as it continues, I want to be on it.
Sorry, getting carried away here and getting misty eyed thinking about how the journey as his fan is close to 7 years for me -- from a whackadoodle teenager to a thoughtful, wonderful young man. And he still has so much to give!
