Ah, I was wondering why he had opened up his palm like that when Shoma's name was mentioned during the medal ceremony! I didn't see the "Shoma" written on his fingertips until now...

I so wish I could see the show in Switzerland. Shoma is going to look the part for Harry Potter. I can feel it. I can just picture the glasses, the scar, the wand, and the cloak. This is so exciting! Oh I hope the videos will be available to those who can’t see it in person or with whatever streaming service is going to be used.

I wasn't so sad when I watched the medal ceremony...but then I saw the Mexican artistic swimming team swim a routine with "Great Spirit" in it and now I'm missing Shoma really badly...

LOVE how they even brought Sho towels to show that he wasn't forgotten. Sniff. Sniff. What an awesome team...The icing on the cake would be if they would mention it at the ice show. After all, it's an honor for Stephane too...I don't know, maybe it's not appropriate for a skating school show.

Grrr. I never learn. My mantra should be "Always have your camera ready. Always have your camera ready." So I'm waiting in the little tourist train to go to my hotel, and Shoma walked right by. By the time I fumbled around trying to get my phone out, he had crossed the street. He was wearing that black shirt he's been wearing lately. ##$%^*_/=

Adding: Darn! I hear he was in grocery store COOP. I was there too buying lunch. I must have just missed him.

He was stunning as always. 2nd row center seats. Sheesh. His speed and ice coverage! He still has it! I forget how fast he is until I see him live. Live pianist for the entire show was utterly amazing. Beautiful 4T, 3A, 3S. Great appreciation from the audience. So happy the show.was well attended and the audience was super appreciative.

More photos from the show... apparently all the skaters were introduced by Beatrice Berrut (the pianist) except Shoma- who appeared in the dark and started skating- but then Stephane appeared in the end to introduce him and they hugged

The ending number was by the 4 guys and was super energetic and got the crowd involved. It was a lot of fun!



Um ok Dennis. We know it's your birthday but really! Or is he imitating The Scream.painting?! .Love Shoma's for-real smile, not the "Oh do I have to smile now?" smile.

Not that I've seen. So far Swiss tv around Christmas. Hope that changes! This was pure skating. Minimal props, no silliness, minimal yakking, costumes that complimented but didn't distract, a few stars but fun newbies too.
