Curve lift looked a little rough for Nguyen/Giang, but they didn't fall on it like in June so they're working on it (y) I wasn't sure if they'd win the free dance based on the TES, but they did it on PCS.

I like them having another year in Juniors since it gives another season of them and Veillon/Brandys competing against each other.

Nguyen/Gian and Veillon/Brandys are sure to get two spots. Otherwise I think Skate Canada will give those down to 7th, maybe 8th or 9th one spot initially and then a second depending on how they do at their first JGP. 🤔

Gauthier/Thieren are supposedly moving back to Juniors, but weren't here, so maybe they'll too get a spot or two.

Yes. Rivalries are always good. I watched the three top teams. Watching Olympics at the same time.

Comparable to the level they had last season at Nationals, a bit better in some aspects. Definitely can still add to their difficulty (2LoTh is big, and if they hit the SBS 3S that would already add quite a bit to their score).

Yikes!! Bad Pairs event.
Now I know why Ava and Yohnathan don’t even bother. They are guaranteed two spots. Anybody have an idea who else will nab JGP spots. I’m assuming the entire podium here will get two spots

Minimum score required for Pairs is 130. I believe we have 11 spots
So you have 11 spots and the pairs needed to score 130 in this competition to be eligible, which only Desrochers/Thrasher have? Surely it would be better to send the others out to the JGP for experience as well, rather than wasting so many JGP spots?

Only Junior Pairs who aren't here that are entered in a competition not here that I can find Julia Di Menna/Félix‐Antoine Chartrand for CQE. They came 3rd in Novice Nationals last season. I'm not counting Callahan/Roch's entry to CQE if one of them is on Ice Partner Search.

I agree. That is why I think they will send the entire podium.
