Tarah Kayne and Danny O'Shea in their SP, Take Me to Church. (At 3:04) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1yAjey09NA He does a butterfly and she does a little I-don't-know, but it's a nice complement to his Butterfly.

Like Sarah Synchro, I am having way too much fun with this thread! Thanks so much, Anni234, for coming up with this great idea. It just goes to prove all over again that it isn't just the big tricks and high-scoring technical marks that make a great program. :party2:

My favorite part of figure skating is when a skater is doing all that they can in a performance and then they open their arms and poke out their chest in triumph before heading into the final moments of their skate. When Michelle did it at the 2004 Nationals Dick Button said, "Look at that heart on her sleeve!" That moment it everything to me. It's pride. It's relief. It's joy. It's EVERYTHING!!!!

Anton Sikharulidze breaking off an adoring look at his partner during their Chaplin routine to shake off imaginary dust on his jacket while romantic music is playing. Whenever I watched this program, this gesture always made me laugh. It still makes me chuckle now, as I remember his expression.

Philip Candeloro mimicking pointing a gun at his enemies in his Napoleon program, but really pointing at the judges. His bows and mimicking dueling with a sword in his d’Artagnan program.

Alexei Yagudin mimicking climbing up a rope in his Iron Mask program, while some very moving music is playing.

The start of Elena Ilinykh and Ruslan Zhiganshin’s Carmen program – the hottest pose in fs ever, and perfectly capturing their characters and said characters’ relationship. Also her teasing him with a hand gesture during a lift in that program. And her pushing him back when he responds to her innuendo to further inflame his passion. The beginning and end of their Frida program – very moving. Also the beginning of Somebody to Love program – so hot and tender at the same time.

Weijing Sui’s kicking up her leg like a cat its tail, while her arms lie on her partner’s chest in their Street Cat Strut program.

That moment in Yuko Kavaguchi and Aleksandr Smirnov’s Manfred program when he tries to make her look at him.

Natalie Pechalat preening while portraying the Rose in their Little Prince program.

Evgeni Plushenko’s interrupting his Nijinsky program to show positions from his ballets.

The smile on Meagan Duhamel’s face when she skates, as if there were no greater joy.

And who can forget Yulia Lipnitskaya’s look back during her Schindler’s List program? I also loved the beginning of her Don’t Give Up on Love and last year’s Romeo and Juliet programs and releasing the kite in Megapolis.

Although this was clearly done in the heat of the moment, I always loved how in his 2012 comeback FP Plushenko started celebrating before the program was finished.

Yuna's transition of a traditional camel position into a bent-leg camel, right with the music change: https://youtu.be/hwgqIso3ZEs?t=4m25s

Mao's kick when she entered her step sequence, it's like she's saying "take this steps!": https://youtu.be/S_FDAEKGgLs?t=4m21s

Satoko's arm movement where she hit a position right with the music accent: https://youtu.be/FKJIu4DnpfI?t=2m15s

Ashley's mini heart attack, matching the lyrics: https://youtu.be/HY2iTexGuds?t=4m17s

Mao's three big "steps" on the music accent: https://youtu.be/_wi621udof4?t=3m49s

Rika's wavy steps and choreo that made her look like she's flowing on water, the commentator liked that too!: https://youtu.be/p8TUj_ecgwU?t=1m27s

The tap on the shoulder and the interaction in the next minute is just fantastic!: https://youtu.be/jRWHwt91oj0?t=2m11s

Giada Russo LP when she plunges very suddenly contorting her back at 4:17 absolutely amazing. As someone else mentioned her whole step sequence is just breathtaking.
Guillaume dancing coming out of the FD Spins, with Gaby joining in towards the end starting at 3:07
P/C's last twizzle body movement, bending their bodies so in sync finishing of beautifully their twizzle at 1:32
Guillaume's gorgeous single twizzle right in front of the judges at 2:09
And as couple of other posters mentioned every single arm movements from Gabriella, the best 'port de bras' in the business IMO. (sorry I don't know the english for this expression)

Savchenko/Massot little interesting mirror choreography in their LP at 2:49

Hubbell/Donohue, how they join hands during their spin at 4:08

And probably many more, very nice thread indeed, I didn't have time to watch every links yet but I'll certainly do. It makes me discover some programs and pay attention more closely to the details.

Weaver & Poje Four Seasons FD at GPF Barcelona 2014.... The moment at 2:36 where Andrew is low to the ice and holds Kaitlyn's body stretched out full length parallel to ice, with one hand... His arm is braced on his leg to take the weight - the move is breathtaking...

I love this topic because, as mentioned, everyone loves the jumps and the lifts, but I live for those small moments in programs that make them magical :luv17: I agree with many of the examples already mentioned, and would like to add some more:

The slow exit after the lift in this 2008 Dube/Davison FP. PLEASE WATCH THE ENTIRE PROGRAM IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SEEN IT (and even if you have), you won't regret it. While I don't know much about this team aside from her injuries, I just find this whole program magical, and that exit... :drama: :dbana:

Sorry if this one's already been mentioned, but if not, THE STOMP in Kavaguti/Smirnov's enchanting Manfred.

The short bit of choreography in Peng/Zhang's 2015-16 FP after the death spiral, the way he pulls her towards him, the hands...

That move where Weaver's leg wraps around Poje's in their 2012 SD.

Rogonov chasing Astakhova down with the change of music in their phenomenal Master and Margarita LP  (I love that whole program soooo much).

This interesting take on an illusion spin in Nazarova/Nikitin's 2015 FD (the whole program is full of very creative findings).

...I think that's enough for now  I'll post more if I don't get lazy, and I hope to see others posting as well - I've already found (or remembered) some gems!

Yuzuru's Requiem ex at Boston. There were so many moments in that performance...basically every second of it.

In the end I ended up slowing it down to absorb each step, each stroking, each hand/arms/head movements and expressions. He was floating and it is very hypnotic.

This may not be fit into the "small moment category", but this incredible tano execution while doing 3 twist lift in the air was absolutely breathtaking in Wenjing Sui/Cong Han's SP at Boston. She was majestic and commanded the whole ice. I love this small, but at the same time big fat moment.

I also love their stsq right in front of the judges. Wenjing was so sassy and full of energy. I look forward to seeing this kind of amazing performance next season from them.

This whole SP was incredible. The audience just erupted when they finished. Just, wow. Am heartbroken that they won't be at Skate America.

https://m.youtube.com/?#watch?v=pHq4FqZrxJQ At about 2:10 in Sui and Han's FS at last year's Skate America, he is holding her upside down and goes into a spread eagle inside edge. Pretty incredible. About gave me a heart attack every time.:eekn:
