Wondering what Cindy is planning to give her. While I wished for SY to stay with David sgain, I think her going back to Cindy is a good move. Cindy will be able to fine-tune what SY worked with David but also challenge her to improve more.

That's great! Also the article says that So Youn will be part of Denis&Friends this year (I think).
At first, her swan SP was just meh to me, but as I started to pay more attention to the choreography, it just seemed so well-made. I think Cindy is able to choreograph So Youn's programs well because she seems to know So Youn's style. I think David Wilson's programs for So Youn were also good, but I kind of thought it could have been better. So that makes me more excited about So Youn's programs this year. And I also can't wait to see what GP events So Youn is going to!

i hope she will have better season and will improve her skating and consistency more and hope that she will grow mentally as well, please no silly spin miskates!!i think if she has any chance of podium it will be COC since SA is literally blood bath:hopelessness:

I would have preferred that she got picked by TEB instead. I like the TEB camera-work better than in CoC. Her SA assignment is not bad. I do hope that her team starts to pick a pick a better pacing method for her.
edit: SA is pretty good; they have nice camera-work.

I really, really hope So Youn gets a bronze medal in one of her events. It's not impossible if she goes clean!
But of course, she cannot make a silly spin mistake. These small mistakes accumulate into big things that cost her lots of points. Can't wait to see her in Boston next year, too!

Elena will medal for sure in COC if she is in her normal condition and so will Mao whether she skates good or bad because she's coming in as the most artistic ladies skater currently competing. So I guess as long as Rika, Anna, Zijun (and maybe Karen) do not do too well So Youn will probably medal there.
As for SA, we'll probably see Gracie on the podium no matter how bad she does like last year. Satoko is pretty consistent so she will probably land on the podium too. So I guess it really just depends on how Evgenia and Yulia do. Mariah may also be a surprise podium threat.
When everyone thought she would medal at COR last year she ended up in 5th. As long as So Youn is consistent and really delivers those new programs greatly she can be on the podium. Good luck!
