Floskate posted 1971 Worlds podium, which prompted me to look for her 1971 FS and didn't find it. I did find this song by Kurt Swinghammer for Karen Magnussen:

Never heard about this artist or this song before. Nice to see Karen Magnussen liked the song and was touched by it. Was this well known at the time?

Very cool, great lyrics.

I looked up Karen Maggussen to see if there was any recent improvement in current health situation (sadly, no). But I came across this tribute written this year by a a group of writing and communication students at Capilano University (Vancouver, British Columbia) as part of a journalism course in conjunction with the local historical museum.
