[Hope it's okay to post this info here so that more people can see it -- the show is this coming Sunday afternoon.]

The following info about "SKATES FOR KATRINA" was originally posted
on October 9 on the ice-dance.com message board & updated with info
I've since received:
"Skates for Katrina" will take place on November 6th from 1-3 PM at
the Fred Rust Ice Arena on the University of Delaware campus in
Newark, DE. "Skate for Katrina" is a benefit exhibition through the
Delaware chapter of the Red Cross. Tickets are available through
Ticketmaster and at the door of the Fred Rust Ice Arena. Tickets are
$15 for adults and $10 for students and children. A VIP pass can be
purchased for $20. This benefit is being hosted by the University of
Delaware FSC and the Premiere Center for the Arts (PCA). It will
include international skaters who train at the University of
Delaware including world ice dancers from Bulgaria, Albena Denkova
and Maxim Staviyski. The Newark High School chorus and band and live
vocalists from PCA will also be there. Photos and T-shirt signing
will also be available after the show for additional fundraising.

Skater roster (subject to change):
*Bulgaria's Albena Denkova & Maxim Staviyski (will perform their
free dance?)
*Kimberly Navarro & Brent Bommentre (excerpt from one of their
competitive numbers?)
*Tiffany Scott & Rusty Fein (new senior pair; '05 Nebelhorn Trophy,
5th)
*Shaun Rogers ('05 Nebelhorn Trophy, 6th)
*Christine Zukowski (South Atlantic senior ladies champ; qualified
for JGP Final)
*Megan Williams-Stewart (South Atlantic senior ladies silver
medalist)
*Megan Oster (JGP Canada silver medalist; first-year senior)
*Geoffry Varner (qualified for JGP Final)
*Traighe Rouse (JGP Bulgaria silver medalist)
*Bridget Namiotka & John Coughlin (qualified for JGP Final in pairs)
*Kaela Pflumm & Christopher Pottenger (new junior pair)
*Melissa Bulanhagui (South Atlantic junior ladies champ; NACS jr.
silver medalist)
*Meg Byrne & Nate Bartholomay (South Atlantic Novice pair champs)
*Lindsay Cohen & Evan Roberts (junior dance)
*Alexis Hauser & Kyle Herring (novice dance)
*Andrew Nagode (South Atlantic juvenile boys champ)
*Emmanuel Savary (South Atlantic juvenile boys, 3rd)

Most of the solo numbers for the show will be competitive short
programs, with one or two possibly being exhibition numbers. Two
group numbers will be featured -- "Bridge Over Troubled Water" with
pairs, singles and synchro girls all on the ice at the same time,
and Peter Briccotto (novice pair skater) is doing the finale group
number with the actual "Katrina survivors" on the ice surrounded by
highlights and simple line steps by all the skaters. There will also
be an "Estonian Comedy Act" and a choral group coming from the
Premiere Center for the Arts. A jump contest will be an additional
fundraiser with volunteers collecting money from the stands.
