Watch Olympians—fight cancer!

Join us for the 53rd annual An Evening with Champions on September 12th and 13th from 7-9 PM at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center (65 North Harvard Street, Allston, MA 02163)—an annual figure skating showcase featuring world-class talents taking to the ice in support of The Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s mission to conquer cancer.

Led entirely by students at Harvard University, our show combines the energies of world-class figure skaters, student volunteers, and the public in the fight against cancer. In the past 52 years, we’ve hosted talents like Nathan Chen, Yuna Kim, Michelle Kwan, Paul Wylie, Johnny Weir, Nancy Kerrigan, and many more; Bradie Tennell, 2018 Olympic team event bronze medalist and two-time U.S. national champion, graced the ice as our featured skater last year! Stay tuned to find out this year's cast!

Proceeds go to The Jimmy Fund for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and their efforts to develop comprehensive cancer care and advance cancer research.

It's typically local skaters from Harvard and the Boston area with a few coming from further out. Or whoever donates the most money! Plus haydenettes usually skate! I have been going yearly since I was little and it's always a great time. A lot of the skaters go yearly.

I stopped going when they made the reception inaccessible to fans. It was a higher price point but the whole vibe has changed since they made it only for elite corporate and large donors. Takes the event away from the actual skate fans who have supported for years (& new ones).
