Survivor China - Anyone Watching???

Todd seems like he gets an idea and then the next second he changes his mind. I would have a hard time being around him. I think Amanda is getting tired of him.

I just hope that James uses his smarts about the idols. I think he was actually scared last week. He is a prime target.

I interpret that as actually Todd's ability to try [key word] and change his game plan based on new developments, as opposed to most players who get a certain strategy in their head on Day One and do not deviate no matter what else is going on. I think Todd is quite clever, tho a bit scattered. Then again, being like 5-4 and 120 pounds to start with* and then going on the standard "Survivor diet" is bound to affect the overall thought process...

*OK, I don't have his exact status, but he's definitely a Little Guy. Especially when he stands anywhere near James.....:laugh:
 
Ohhhhh I was so mad when PG got immunity. I hope they don't continue to talk about getting rid of my Courtney. Wasn't she cute with a whole burger in her mouth...she looked like a chipmunk!! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

PG was the last one I wanted to see win individual immunit....and Frosti was the last one I wanted to see go home.
I guess there will be another vote at the top of the next episode since they didn't go home from tribal council at the conclusion of the show????

I think they WANT us to think there will be another vote. I have a feeling it is something else. If there is a vote, we know it will not be Todd or James and I can't remember the other person, because they were in the previews for next week.

Man, I did not want Peigh Gee to get immunity either. I still think they should have gotten rid of Peigh Gee last week when they had the chance instead of Jean Robert, even though he is quite annoying. And I have trouble with people who are smug enough to think they do not even need to compete for individual immunity. I would think that James would have received a wake-up call last week. I expect him to be blindsided very soon.

I did not want Frosti to go. He is a good player. I'm still not sure what he sees in Courtney, but to each his own!
 
Still watching, of course with the Chinese girlfriend.

BTW, the food challange where they ate the "still birth chicken" - Jia Min said " I have never seen anyone eat that sh** and the other things they ate we eat or have eaten. The egg is very good!

Going for the big "A" to win but seems her stratigy is weak. Loved Frosty - sorry Dee I think he was your work pick. See I remeber you all. I will never leave GS. I am lucky you all accept me!:bow:
 
the fetal egg is a Filippino custom. My SIL said she tried to eat one on a dare from her brother.

James, James, James...why did you not think that you were a target????? It makes absolutely no sense to be voted off while holding on to two immunity idols. I like you, but you deserved to go. :banging:

Amanda is no dummy....I have a feeling she may be the winner.
 
James was a moron for not using the idol. I hope Todd goes next, then Amanda and then Colleen. I would like to see Eric win.

I don't want Erik to win. I like him okay, but he is an actor who did not even apply for the show. They recruited him. I like the people who apply...the common folk!

I don't know who the heck I'm liking now. I did like Amanda and Todd, but they've gone against their alliance with James.
Erik is a waffler and just riding coat tails if you ask me.
I guess I'll hope for the underdog, Denise, to come out the winner.
 
Yeah, I'd have to go on the "James is an Idiot" side as well. Tho his stupidity certainly did blow the game wide open -- who'd've thought Amanda would have suddenly emerged as the big power player? On that note, it's good to see SOMEONE finally have the brains to take out the strongest player when the opportunity arises -- what has annoyed me about previous editions was the fact that often there is one dominant player (usually some big dude like James) who can easily sail all the way to the final and YET when the opportunity DOES come up to take him out, they choose not to take it and get rid of someone else, usually someone who they've decided to get rid of per a pre-ordained plan from days ago. At least this group in general seems much more adaptable to changing their plans.

I think Todd is gonna be the next one outa there, in which case I think Erik is gonna win the whole thing. Tho Denise has been flying under the radar and might have a shot now, too. I can't see Amanda winning (despite her maneuvering) and I think PG and Courtney have collectively gotten on WAY too many nerves to get enough jury votes. Personally, I kind of like PG (and one would hope that she would get 5 out of 5 right on "Chinese Culture" questions :laugh:), but I find Courtney completely obnoxious.

Another thing I really like about this edition is that the individual immunity challenges seem to be geared more towards skills that DON'T require a lot of physical strength -- past editions have featured a lot of challenges that seem to favor the "big dudes" (see 1st paragraph) -- but here the challenges seem a lot more fair and therefore makes the game more interesting. In previous editions, there is just no way that PG and Courtney, and possibly even Erik, would have ever gotten immunity; James would have been walking away with all of 'em.
 
I actually suspected James was going to use the idol. I was quite surprised when he didn't...

that had to have been one of the best tribals ever :rofl:
