Takeshi Update

Takeshi Honda ws diagnosed with a sprained ankle at the hospital after his severe fall during the Qualifying. "Takeshi's left ankle is now in a cast and he is resting at the hotel", assistand team leader Nobuhiko Yoshioka said.

You put a cast on a sprain? I didn't know that.

I took a header on the ice in our arena's parking lot. Broke a couple of toes and severly sprained the muscles along the side of my foot. The hospital put on a tensor-type bandage but no cast. Plus, they encouraged me to remove the bandaging sooner rather than later ... said I needed to keep the foot mobile.

Well do we know how serious the spain was for Takeshi? I mean its possible he broke a few areas when he fell during his jump ?

The CBC showed his fall; It looked horrible. Poor Takeshi, I wish him a speedy recovery.
