Tanya and Max were guests on "Comedy Club" and had a short little interview at 5:58.

if anyone can translate.. it's really short.![]()

Nessie, this is you second encounter where you almost met them. Next time you will surely be lucky. You could go to Ice House and invite them for coffee.I live a few blocks away from Central Park, and every weekend I take a fast walk for about 5 miles on the road looping through Central Park. The weather was beautiful on Saturday and since I know they are in town, I wondered if Tanya and Max might think of visiting this beautiful park on such a day. As I walked, I actually looked around for them a few times (I know it’s crazy), and thought to myself -- what if I see them coming down the road? What would I do? Would I be bold enough to bother them and say a few words? Would I wave to them, call out their names and give them a thumbs up? It would have been incredible luck to have bumped into them, but it didn’t happen.
So you can imagine my disappointment when I see from the pictures on both their Instagram accounts that our perfect couple DID in fact visit Central Park and on the same day I was there!! We just didn’t cross paths.
I met my husband on a train in western Romania. That accidental meeting was sheer luck – if not destiny. So that old saying --“timing is everything” – is true. Or maybe I have had enough good luck for a lifetime and a chance meeting in Central Park with our beautiful, beloved skaters was not to be.
But now, until they leave on the 23rd, I’m going to be expecting them to come around every corner! I’ve got to get a hold of myself! Or maybe if I were really smart, I should go shopping for a wedding dress….?!!

well, maggie, you’re probably right. I should have hightailed it out there as soon as i saw the ice house photo. (my contact at the arena where they practiced last summer said he would find out if they were training but he never did call me back.) anyway, i think i blew this second chance. I just called the ice house and learned that v&t have mostly stopped by to see friends who are training there – it doesn’t seem that they themselves are training and that is the feeling i got from their instagram accounts. But, to confirm that person’s impression, i just called the ice house now and am waiting for a call back as to whether they are there today or expected later today or tomorrow, but i suspect it is hopeless. I have acted too late. They are leaving tomorrow. Max says on his instagram he is extremely tired today – but from what? Training? Or running around new york -- which in and of itself can be exhausting… sigh....it's frustrating.
Nessie ,they never did use the programs that they created in U.S.last year due to Max's injury if I remember correctly so they probably aren't creating anything new and have been practicing these programs for upcoming season. I'm just guessing.
Did you know that 2016 Worlds are in Boston March 28-April 3 at TD Garden. A great chance to see them compete if they stay healthy.
I agree the Chinese are the only worry at present. Yesterday I found a magazine "International Figure Skating". I had not seen it before. The June edition is celebrating 2015 worlds and has a small article on the Bali engagement. It is a U.S. based publication (MA) so I'm not sure about the regular coverage but this one covers a lot of international skaters.Wow, Maggie, thanks. No, I didn’t know about World’s in Boston. Boston is not that far, so I might be able to attend and find a way to meet my champions and actually greet them in the flesh. (They might have bodyguards though?)
I would assume V &T will certainly stay healthy. By March 2016 they going to be “hungry” to compete and will perhaps want to test how they are scored in comparison to whoever will be their competition. I’m not worried about the Canadians – I think they’ve reached their peak. (And I think their marks were generous.) I’d worry more about the Chinese. But it’s all too early to jibber jabber about who could give them a run for their money.
Acoording to the instagram of Petro Sheksheyev, V/T PR manager (the same one who announced their engagement), -
"Preparations for wedding of the year brought me the workshop of classic suits. There they sew a suit for the groom. "

Don't know of he's reffering to Tanya and Max but it definitely looks like it.
EDIT: he was definitely talking about Max.

Yep, I think the wedding must be soon. And it’s what all of us want for them – the next step in their
happiness.
