Yep, I think the wedding must be soon. And it’s what all of us want for them – the next step in their happiness.

I am still not sure why V+T came to New York. Clearly it wasn’t to train. Windsor at Mariners is an apartment complex, not a hotel, so someone must have loaned them an apartment to stay in. With all the mileage they must have acquired on Aeroflot, and their ability to take long trips without hesitation, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Tatiana would shop for a wedding dress in New York. They probably know Manhattan and feel comfortable here. And maybe checking out “Chicago” on Broadway (though that show has been around a LONG time) has something to do with a new program they might be conceiving? Anyway, as usual, I’m just guessing on things – but thanks Kinori H and Maggie for your input!

Nessie, I think, you are right about V/T reasons of coming to New York. Tanya wanted to but a wedding dress, as for staying at apartment complex, I think, Tanya's friend, Anna Zadorozhnuck, lives there, so they possibly stayed at her apartment. Somebody asked Ivan Bariev, their friend, on ask.fm, about Tanya and Maxim's wedding date, but he didn't give any answer.

Well, the hope for their return to competitive skating is gradually fading away... Shows, preparation for a wedding, wedding itself. What about training?
It is so difficult to say goodbye to the beloved athletes
But while there is life, there is hope, right? The situation will become clearer on June 15, I think.

Walking back from the park tonight, I walked by Dick Button’s apartment building and he was getting out of his car. I had once imagined I would ask him why he said that V and T didn’t have “good position” but I didn’t disturb him. Anyway, I think he’s wrong.

But back to Max’s Instagram, when he said that he and Tati were resting in the Korean First Class lounge, I wondered if that luxurious treatment is an arrangement that Yuna Kim might have made for them. After, all she’s probably one of the most powerful people in South Korea. Or maybe V and T earned that status themselves considering how much they fly.

I think because they travel so much on such long flights they probably do first class. I have noticed on previous posts on Max's Instagram when he has posted his boarding pass that it is first class.

I think it's a bit unfair to write them off so early. Let's not forget that there are many days which they got a lot of practice time and we know nothing about it. Not everything you see on Instagram is all that's going on in their lives, not even a fraction imo.

Plus, planning a wedding might be tiring (in my country it's a huge deal and takes a loooong time and effort) but it's not an excuse.
Imo they've been taking things slowly and will only regain real shape in time for euroes. The GPs are just for testing themselves.

Completly agree. And I think 6 months to organize a wedding are enough, or well at least IMO (I have never organize or seen someone organize one so I really don't know :hopelessness, also I either think that they're the type of athletes who just drop something for another thing.
They said they wanted to keep skating and go to Pyeongchang, so I trust in them :yay:.

After coming back from Japan Tanya and Maxim are going to Sochi, where they will start training twist.

ahh the twist! I just hope all goes well with that.

I CAN'T wait to see them with a triple-triple combination. Most of the teams that do that make it looks somewhat sloppy (except for S/K, but even they jump a bit afar from each other), but V/T jumps are pretty secure so i imagine it'll be impressive.

But closer to home, would anyone like to join me in trying to organize a meeting of some kind with V and T in Boston for the World’s? A fan meeting the way the Japanese did it when V and T visited Japan? But what can be offered? V and T would probably like privacy and rest more than any contact with a bunch of adoring fans. They are such celebrities now that I doubt if they would be very interested in meeting any group. Does anyone have any brilliant ideas? Is there anything we can do for them that they can’t do for themselves? How about a meeting with Dick Button? Ha ha. Just kidding of course. There is time to organize something but I am not sure what shape it should take….

They did the same during NHK 2013. They had a very nice fan meeting right after the competition. I don't think they didn't have time cause usually the pairs event is the first one to start and also finish. There is at least 1 day between the competition and the gala.

Well yeah but that usually happens for the ice dancers, which is most of the time the last one to finish.

Does anyone know if any video of the 2015 Fantasy on Ice show in Japan might be on You Tube or anywhere yet? Sometimes the videos go up quite quickly but I don't see anything yet... Obviousy, I'm hungry to see Tati and Max skate....

Hi everyone, I'm a new fan of Tatiana and Maxim from Thailand.

Youtube channel added videos from Fantasy on Ice 2015.

I saw only "Stars" video, but I heard that there's new show from Tatiana and Maxim. Can't wait to see it.
