Questions: Will the judges at the Mens and Ladies SP events be shuffled around for each event and which judges after shuffling will also judge the Finals?

Will we all need a stiff drink and argue about wuzzrobbed at the close of each day?

I would expect that we will. After all, we usually do it, and, why should Gothenberg be any different from any other competition?

Judges in the LP are a subset of the two panels of judges in the two SP sections.

Woohoo -- only two early days! Enough time for a leisurely stroll to the arena from city center.

Cygnus - Do you know the skating order of the SPs? Is it based on ISU standings?

Joe

I'm not entirely sure, but I think so. That's the way it was at Euros, and I heard that it would be that way starting this year at the ISU comps. That means that most of the better ladies will be in the 2nd group, although there can always be a few interesting ones in the first group. I missed most of the first group in Warsaw, and according to the reports, I didn't miss much (although I would have liked to have seen the new Russian Ladies!).

Cygnus - I understand watch you are saying, but I would like to know how the skaters are decided for Group A and Group B. I would imagine that the total number of Ladies in each Group will probably be 20 so I would imagine the ISU rankings will apply.

Thanks Sylvia. I do remember that thread. And poster #3 was a good reminder of how bias this draw could be.

maybe they could straighten that out, and just have a fair drawing. It's not going to go on LIVE tv.
