Wonder why no one was complaining about the over scoring in Vancouver? A lot of the skaters got personal bests tonight so would you say every one was over scored? Or is it just because a Russian won gold? These skaters etc. that are trying create a scandal over the judging ought to become judges as they know so much better why the scores were given. It is really amazing at the poor sportsmanship. It is really ruining the spirit of the Olympics.
I'm sure it had an effect, but this year, she was fully intending to participate, but was bloody injured. Was she supposed to skate with bruised feet?

Actually I had Kostner as my winner, Yu Na 2nd, and Sotnikova 3rd. In the LP I had Asada 1st, Kostner 2nd, Kim 3rd. I could have accepted either Kostner or Kim as the overall winner, and any of those 3 as the winner of the LP. So delusional and making false assumptions of me (while struggling with basic reading comprehension) as always.

Me and the judging panels know nothing about skating. They should have had you judge the event all by yourself.
How are you not banned already being so confrontation with anyone who disagrees?

Funny how people always get injured during the small events but are ok for the big prize. (not saying Yuna was not injured) just strange it always turn out that way.
There wasn't this kind of SELECTIVE overscoring. Yuna, Mao, and Rochette all were used to 70-ish SP scores. And at that time GOEs for jumps were valued full (+1/+2/+3) instead of 0.7 values (+0.7/+1.4/+2.1). So Adelina essentially got higher scores than 2010 Yuna.
It boggles mind.

No it doesn't. She did an extra jump and better spins. Why does everyone refuse to look at the protocol sheet and decide what exactly they disagree with? If you add it up Adelina has a huge TES advantage, she was not going to score > 5 points below Yuna on PCS after a stellar skate.

I have the protocols. Thank you very much. I even made a thread about step sequences with YouTube video. It's somewhere around. How the Russian skaters' PCS rose by more than 10 points in a matter of month is also well pointed out by others. I can also show you second by second where Adelina couldn't keep up with music/choreo alongside the protocols. And her spins traveling around.

Canadians, then. Canadians who watched CBC had to listen to long silence, and then Kurt trying to recover from the shock and failing, and admitting on the air at he's stunned at the results. That may have done the trick for Canadians.
