I hear you on that! How many names has the electric company had here? It was Atlantic Electric, then Connectiv, and now it's back to Atlantic City...not sure if there was another name in there somewhere along the lines or not!'

Todays random thoughts:
Does it ever end when you are a home owner and a landlord??? The new well water for the rental FINALLY passed the test and we thought one more thing would be behind us.....And then today my husband found out that OUR water conditioner is not working....so our plumber gets some more bucks in HIS pocket, to the tune of $1500 or more. Thank goodness he's a nice guy! A few weeks ago, I got our large Skag 52" deck lawnmower stuck in mud and our plumber drove by, stopped and towed me out!

You're probably tiring of hearing from me. Got my electric bill, $336. Just had to call the fire dept. The plastic turning thing under my microwave turntable caught fire. Now, I need a new micro. What a week this is.

Grgranny....I think you need to have an exercism of your home!! (just kidding!!)
You have really had a bad run of luck. Thankfully I have an ancient microwave that doens't have that turntable thing.

Today is my meter reading so I am sure in the next day or two I will find out how much this wonderful heat wave is going to cost me. I live in an apartment where everything is electric so that always stinks. Luckily, I haven't really done much wash and the wash I have done I have hung up outside to dry so as not to run the drier! They always tell me that I should do the budget plan but I never did it because I usually only pay like 60 or 80 dollars a month during the fall and spring and they want me to pay 120 dollars a month. Now I am sure that I will regret that decision!!! This hot weather probably means that we will have blizzards all winter long here in New Jersey!!

Please, don't say that....don't even THINK it!!!!! I'm rural, we have a huge driveway...my husband has a bad back and at 50 I can no longer shovel the walks for him!!!

If you are rural NJ you either live in Northwestern NJ like Warren or Sussex County or really far south like Salem or Cumberland County!!

Random thought...

They're showing Gone With The Wind on TNT My mouth dropped and I said aloud, "What's the occasion? You don't show a masterpiece like that on TNT just any day!"

I remember the first time I ever saw it. It was basically like a boring history lesson for me LOL. I watched it with mom, it's her favorite. And I have to say, after a few years, and a Wednesday before Thanksgiving night alone at dad's later, I understand why. Really a powerful film, one of the top 10 best of all time.

Another random thought...

I'm going to see Amadeus, as performed by the Pittsburgh Public Theatre, with my best friend in February. It's my mom's birthday present to me because it was so cheap for people under 26. The discount applies to full-time students as well as anyone under 26, I double-checked that to make sure because niether of us are students. It only cost $36! Keep in mind that's for two tickets, not one! And we get second row seats!

I was intending that to be my best friend's Christmas/birthday gift, her birthday is Jan 3rd and the performance we're going to is Feb 16th. I'm not sure if I should buy her something else, cause I feel bad not actually spending the money myself...
