Thanks @iexela! Both programs are so lovely and enjoyable to watch. Sometimes for me, the exhibition lighting is distracting, but I love the choreography and the smooth, synchronous skating that Eric & Vanessa have together.
The second performance is on smaller ice, so they had to adjust for that. I really love the extra moves they put together that we haven't seen them do before in programs. The leap sideways into Eric's arms is a move Vanessa & Morgan used to do. It's been around in figure skating pairs before. I believe that Jeremy Barrett taught that move to Vanessa & Morgan, because he used to do it with Caydee Denney. It is a move I believe Johnny Johns innovated, or maybe that he used to perform when he was a pairs skater in the 1970s (Johns taught it to his former U.S. team, Marcy Hinzmann/ Aaron Parchem -- they competed at 2006 Olympics).
