Toni is this your H.S.team? When is football season in Alaska? Do you have football Friday nights ?

yes this is Kenai High's 3-time State Championship Team they just won their third title last night, no we don't have Friday Night football... it normally is on Saturday afternoon becaue it gets dark too early

our season starts early September and ends early to mid october...

the guys on the team that are called for the Alaska all-state team *I think* go on to nationals, don't quote me on that though ha ha!

I don't think there is anything past "State Champs" in high school except for state all star type games, but I could be wrong. Congrats to your H.S. team! Due to consolidation my H.S. Dunbar, the "Bulldogs" closed about 10 years ago Our kids now go across the river to South Charleston High so I guess now I am a "Black Eagle".. We have lost a lot of good H.S. rivalrys due to consolidation, but because of declining population we had no choice.

LOL, it is dark here for football Friday nights too. That's why we have lights at the football fields..."Friday Night Lights".

considering most of our education budgets have to go to education we can't afford lights we finally got a new score board this year... instead of the vintage one we had(original lightbulbs too, none worked ha ha!)
