OMG, your post made me laugh so much I had tears in my eyes! :laugh::laugh:
Vincent should do some modeling on the side like Junhwan, to earn some extra money and get good fashion and styling tips, as well as putting his looks to good use.
 
Latest IG post with beautiful scenery, leaning against a tree, admiring the sunset by a lakeside somewhere. "Trust the process."

Instastory shows Vincent with Memorial Hospital staff in front of Christmas tree. He visited patients & families there. What a good guy! He probably donated the extra plushies to the kids, minus the special Domokuns from Japan. :biggrin:

Oh, just thought of one thing, that may encourage Vincent.
According to J_butt's mentor David Wilson, our beloved J_butt's musicality or artistry is also learned, initially, he couldn't even got the beat right. So if J_butt cam eventual become what he is now. So can you Vincent! :luv17::love:
ps, Jason Brown's flexibility is also learned.
 
Hey fellow Vincent fans!

It's been awhile since I've posted on GS. Just a few things on my mind:

I really like the artistic improvement and changes in Vincent's skating this year. He has even more command of the ice and of his edges than before. I think his programs are beautifully designed! Like most of you (probably), I am concerned that judges seem to have pegged Vincent as an underrotator. Of course, he does have an issue with it. But he doesn't always UR. I know he and his team are working on it the best they can, and Vincent is such a talent and a hard worker, I have no doubt that he will overcome this challenge.

What bothers me is that Jason Brown is being touted as the US #2 man. I do like and appreciate Jason but, let's face it: he too, has certain jump problems... and, after a number of years, he's never landed a quad in competition. And, more importantly, he's not doing what Vincent is doing, in the jump department. It bugs me that Vincent is being held to such an incredibly high jump landing standard, when what he is putting out there are quad flips and quad lutzes! When you look at what Jason is attempting there's no comparison, not even in the same league.

it is hilarious, you know, I always remembered Vincent mentioned "felt like a 30-year-old" in that Hongkong interview, now he is a 50 year old.:laugh: maybe I should say Wisdom beyond his years. but at this rate, youth is not in our hands anymore.:biggrin::laugh:

Well it does tend to be adults that style these shoots... and pretty much since the dawn of fashion adults and young people have seldom seen eye to eye on what they like. No surprise here someone would put Vincent in what they think he "should" be wearing and what young girls "should" like... and of course that younger generation will have its own ideas.

Plus I think half the fun for young people is to find something that the adults don't get... it is all a cycle.

His hair is looking much better as the perm fades. ;)

Vincent's hair is meticulously monitored by his young lady fans, you know (just like Nathan's;)) So about Vincent's hair, this season is experimental (according to him).
the "process" is:biggrin::
permed (the 50 year old on the over of USFS mag) in the summer, ----> fans don't like it, confronted him at harvard EWC:biggrin:,shaved his hair right before SA(https://youtu.be/NJbV46YhCOo?t=14) :p, ----> growing back at NHK:luv17: fuzzy ------> reached his season's best in tallinn trophy (hair and score) -----> maybe get a buy-one-get-one-free haircut together with his Yummy Chinese food at Toronto. -----> nicely permed airy styled new hair:biggrin: to make the children and patients in Colorado springs memorial hospital smile plus the holiday mood.:biggrin:

so my conclusion is that it is a new perm not faded perm :biggrin: I'm not sure though.

ETA. Chinese fans are confused about Vincent's hair. "why does it looked permed some time but some times not?" A question they have prepared to ask at Nationals.

so I have one idea, we should create a twitter handle named Vincent'sSmilingEyes. :luv17: (like Nathan'sGreyHair:biggrin:)

At 2018 NHK, despite a dislocated shoulder, Vincent tilted his head and smiled, knowing has left his best on the ice for the audience. At the official hotel, Vincent remembered to look at the camera for Japanese fan message with a shy smile.
At 2018 Tallinn Trophy, right after the ending pose of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, fans cried because our little dragon finally smiled… Even it is a low resolution stream, even it is 4am in the morning.
At 2018 memorial hospital visit, “hidden that smile behind the mask , we can still see the smiling eyes” makes our heart warm, gives our energy.


We love Vincent’s smiling eyes: nervously flirty, photo perfect, lip licking:p, self deprecating, brave, content with inner piece and warm like a rising sun. :biggrin:

ETA, and the "I love you all very much," "I love you, too" "我爱你，我爱你们", "you too" moments, Did Vincent smiled then? Hmm, can't remember, we were pretty dizzy.. maybe fainted ...:biggrin:

OMG, you should work at a hair salon and provide consultations, yyyskate. :laugh2: The adventures & progression of Vincent's perm throughout the season! What should Vincent do with his hairstyle? :drama: For Christmas, he should ask for a visit to an upscale salon and get a really professional hairstyle/cut from someone who is familiar with Asian hair. Those mom and pop barber shops in Chinatown are not always reliable nor up to date with the latest styles. He needs a stylish, hip, young, sophisticated and cool hairstyle!

Oh, my heavens! :clap: I will have to take time out this weekend and go through all the smiling moments! Thanks for the idea and inspiration for yet another Vincent hashtag.
