Time for someone to buy Vincent a pair of leather pants! That would go well with the new SP.
 
SP (I will wait) of DOI TV broadcast has also been shared on weibo.
The huge cross on SP costumes also looks like an infinity symbol.

ETA, I will write more feedback when I have more energy (and love:biggrin:) in the future.

This is the best description I could get from the Japanese fans on how the battle went:

Why do you wear this costume?
Vincent: "Everyone likes it, right?"
Gabriella: "Because Vincent wears it"

Enthusiasm for the battle - Vincent: "I never want to wear this again, so l give her the victory"

But he was full of enthusiasm, he rolled up his skirt, showed his pink panties and threw his sunglasses.

Vincent info from Vincent Chinese Fan club who went to Osaka The ICE show and had direct communication with Vincent and Co.

1, about costume
the costumes we saw at DOI and the ICE ice show: short(black see thru mash with big infinity symbol on body) and free (twilight color) are all temporary and are made by local costumer designer at Colorado Springs. Both costumes will be changed in the future (don’t know who will be the designer)

2, about music choice
Both SP and LP music are chosen by choreographers. last year Vincent’s music choice is more of a team decision but this year seems mostly is recommended by the choreographers, the reason for that is: since this is the second year of Olympic cycle, it is the best time to try risky music that is outside of Vincent comfort zone, thus they trusted choreographers to choose something new for him entirely. There is a story telling in Vincent’s LP. Lori also used cloud atlas sound track for a Chinese pair team this season, but it seems Vincent is telling a story from the movie at a life time whilst the Chinese pair is telling another story in the movie from another time and space. About specifically which story is Vincent’s (there are 6 in the movie), we don’t know

3, Challenger Series or B competition
Vincent was planning to take part in Asian Open, cos it is a good time before college starts, However it has been moved… there is no other challenger comps that is compatible with his school. As for lower level B comps, it is unlikely USFS will sent Vincent. So far, Vincent is not sure whether he will compete in any CS or B comps

4, knee injury
His knee injury is still not completely recovered, he is on observation and is restricted from attempting 4T. he only started to attempt quads 10 weeks after his injury, and the SBS 4F with Shoma on instagram is his perhaps twice or third attempt of 4F. Vincent will come back to US next month to get further diagnosis from his doctor.

Vincent’s SP has already been broadcasted on TV, and shared on Chinese weibo, but not much retweet at all so far…… I watched Vincent’s SP very closely, IMHO, the music editing is smooth and tech components fits music structure (spin needs to be better to match music structure). Vincent’s stsq has quite a few innovation both technically(new difficult turn series) and artistically, There is quite a few folk dance steps in-betweens, but Vincent needs to perform them more deliberately and clearly, so that people can feel the folk/country/blue grass genre/style. otherwise, what’s the point. Obviously, there is lots of room to further develop; but it really has potential. I also wish Vincent end the SP with a bright smile to match the music mood.

Vincent’s FP has not been shown anywhere, very possibly be broadcasted from THE ICE show in near future. but according to fan feedback, the stsq which is performed against Cloud atlas main theme is very mesmerizing and touching (the great part). the structure is 3 parts, there is quite an abrupt transition between second and third part, that is not smooth, rather weird(and lazy) and break the mood … (anyways not very good). I already knew the entire music editing. but I will refrain from any comments for now (have ranted enough on my Chinese weibo:biggrin:)… The tech element lay-out is also very different from previous Vincent’s free, this time, the tech stsq is not in the end anymore, it is in the middle part and the backbone and character of this program.
The temporary costume with beautiful twilight color transition blue, purle, orange, pink, white is rather captivating according to fans.

ETA，like reposted before in this FF or observed elsewhere, many fans think the free music choice alone (cloud atlas soundtrack) has masterpiece written all over it, i just hope … … … …

Vincent's answers to the cast Q&A taken from The ICE program. Thanks to translation by fan here. I edited some of the English translation.

1. Liberal arts or science? Liberal arts. It's fun to move forward with the real world.
2. Do you want to be a cat or a dog? Cat, my favorite animal.
3. Do you like the mountain or the sea? Mountain, I live in Colorado, where there are beautiful mountain scenery during springtime.
4. Do you like sweet or spicy? Sweet.
5. Udon noodles or soba noodles? Udon, it tastes better.
6. Sandwich or onigiri (rice ball)? Sandwich, I eat it more often.
7. Is short-distance or long-distance running better? Both are good, neither one is better.
8. Would you rather travel to the past or the future? The future. I want to know what I will become, where I will go and what I am going to experience.
9. Romance or action movies? Romance, I like something with more emotion
10. Your goals in the coming season? Be successful in both school and skating. And win another World medal.
11. Your expectation for The ICE? I haven't participated in an ice show in Japan so I can't wait to perform in front of the most enthusiastic audience. Also it's nice to make new friends during my travels. (He must have completed the questionnaire before DOI)
This proves Vincent and Nathan are very different "animals". ;)
