Warrant Issued In Grishuk Case

Case dismissed

According to today's newpaper,

"At the prosecuror's request, a judge in Santa Ana, California, dismissed a case against a man who was accused of slipping a date rape drug ibto the drink of former Olympic ice dance Oksana (Pasha) Grishuk....

"(Defendent Jame R.) Halstead said he thinks the partially disolved pills Grishuk reported finding in two drinks were put there by the skater herself..."

So there wasn't enough evidence to prove that the guy did it, but that doesn't necessarily mean he didn't do it. . . Meanwhile, it's possible that Oksana could have put the pills in her own drinks, but what would she expect to get out of framing the guy? Looks like this may remain a mystery forever now! The Orange County Register has a slightly more detailed story, but still no answers:
