Naughty French Music :roll5:

Stereo Total : L’Amour á 3

Did somebody mention naughty French music...?

Make The Girl Dance - "Baby Baby Baby"

No, there's definitely no Biebers here!

I'm not linking to the video. Suffice to say, even though it is censored, the copy of the video on the record company's YouTube channel requires age verification. (Although, curiously, identical copies of the video on other YouTube channels - and on Dailymotion - don't require verification...)

Was it really 9 years ago that this song was released?!  :jaw:

Unfortunately, the presenters of a couple of programmes I watched when I was a child have died recently.

In memory of John Cunliffe, the creator and original presenter of "Rosie And Jim":

All the "Rosie And Jim" intros

John also created "Postman Pat", but it wasn't one of the programmes I would have watched:

Ken Barrie - "Postman Pat" (The full length song is on this video, but you don't get the programme's opening sequence)

In memory of Geoffrey Hayes, the presenter of "Rainbow" (assisted by Zippy, George and Bungle):

Telltale - "Rainbow" (The sound quality is actually far better on this video, but you don't get the programme's opening sequence)

Another part of my childhood gone :disapp:

My thoughts go out to the families and friends of both men.

Just heard that Charles Aznavour died yesterday.

Here is his biggest hit in the English-speaking world:

Charles Aznavour - "She"

And here are a few figure skating programmes that have used his songs:

Estelle Elizabeth / Romain Le Gac 2012 Bosphorus Cup FD - "Je m'voyais deja"
Meaghan Duhamel / Eric Radford 2013 Worlds SP - "La Bohème"
Nicholas Nadeau 2017 Junior Worlds SP - "For Me, Formidable"

Aznavour is a member of the Armenian diaspora. So, it is fitting that we end this with a programme from another member:

Anastasia Galustyan 2015 Europeans SP - "Une Vie d'Amour"

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

After seeing Giorgia Isabella Sechi's FS, I realised that there was a mistake in the music listed in her ISU Bio. Basically, all the FS songs were listed as being by the same bloke. But when you saw the routine, you heard a female voice singing the first song.

Even before seeing the routine, I knew it was the Gene Wilder song from "Willie Wonka And The Chocolate Factory". However, because the song has been covered so many times over the years, it took a while to find the correct version. But I finally found it there now. And it is so beautiful that I had to share it here:

Stephanie Tarling - "Pure Imagination"

Very powerful and downright mesmerizing. In a way I feel like it cleans out the mind.

I appreciate you sharing this :)

:thank: Hildegard is an enigma.... were her visions direct from God or political agenda? She is a spirit guide in my life... so happy to share
PS. I adore choirs with all male or all female singers. . Love the effect..
