Perhaps these are more campy than in bad taste, but Junhwan Cha's and Ilia Malinin's free skate costumes (Ilia's second costume, specifically) simply didn't do it for me. Jun seemed like he was attacked by a piñata. Ilia's costume seemed like it was designed to be as "edgy" as possible.

Thing is, the costumes in the 2024-25 year have for the most part been okay, neither all that good or endearingly awful... But there were a couple standouts in the wrong direction (as with Paul, these are just my opinion!)

Charlene Guignard & Marco Fabbri - their first robot ones. Not only awful but every single photo I have seen it makes them look like their heads are pasted on.

Bradie Tennell's Riverdance, the one at Skate America: I kept trying to see what other folk thought was so beautiful but it still looked like the cheap tourist tat you get at 'Ye Cliched Celtic Souvenir Shoppe'.

Robots were recycled, does it count? Bradie's dress was just like this whole program. Ordered from Temu. She deserves so much better.
My dear Katia deserves a WTF nomination for Let's get loud (or not). And maybe Adam for his hooded gangsta disaster?

Didn't he once wear a grey pajama/sweatsuity set that made Nathan Chen's look positively flashy by contrast??? And that's not an easy feat.

I also read he hired Satomi Ito to design his more recent sparkly duds.

There should be a special sub-category for the men: Comfiest-Looking Pajama Ensemble. Many of the pair guys could be considered too....

Hall of Fame - while Domnina and Shabalin deserve consideration purely for the appalling things they wore at the 2010 Olympics (for both programs, not just the utterly offensive one), the rest of their career they seem to have been disappointingly unawful. Can I suggest Stephane Lambiel whose worst costumes had an actual WTF element as in "what on earth does it even mean???"

And yes, the Skate America KnC was actually worse than anything everywhere, even small budget-strained comps in non-fs countries.
