wind chill is well below freezing. I think we're still getting winds directly from Siberia.

At last, at last! Two days off for cold! 
With wind chills, it's been -20 the last two mornings. At the school where I work, kids must live two miles from school before they are bused at the elementary and middle schools, and the high school kids are not bused at all. Way too cold for some of those kiddos to walk to school, especially since many of them don't have adequate winter clothing.

after all that 'almost' balmy weather we had from Christmas through 18 January, we have gotten down to cold weather but since last week or so, real artic freeze has taken over. Brrrr.

because of the shinook winds last week the Kenai Peninsula is swimming, litterally. Borough Mayer Williams has applied for the Fed. Government's 'Disaster Relief' fund... quite scary...

Its sooo cold here in Richmond... my family is ready to off KW because one of my selling points for moving down south from Detroit was the balmy winter weather... I'm so not popular right now... Oh well...

Temps have been in the low 40's yesterday & today. Some rain, overcast. That's it from NW Montana.
Too bad I didn't feel like going out.

Southern Illinois here...It's been very cold! Last few days in the single digits at night and in the upper teens during the day.. It got up to 30 today. Supposed to be in the upper 20's the next few days.. I'm ready for Spring!!!
