Where's Karen Magnussen

Does anyone know if Canadian skater Karen Magnussen is still involved in figure skating? I believe I read somewhere that Karen was coaching in British Columbia, her home province, but that was a while ago, and perhaps the report was incorrect.

I'm sure many of us remember Karen's terrific free skating - her silver medal win at the 1972 Winter Olmpics and her victory at the 1973 Worlds. I remember
her as a very strong jumper, and as a skater with a great deal of personality.

As one of Karen's most devoted fans, I am happy to report she is teaching at her home club - the North Shore Winter club in North Vancouver, BC. I wanted to sign up for lessons with her when I heard, but North Van is quite a treck from where I live in Surrey. Wish she would teach out here as well.
