Which current skater is most outrageously overmarked in PCS?

Imo, DomShabs have great skating skills, expression, danceability, speed and attack when they skate which means good PCS. I like them.

The worst for me are the Zhangs. She is totally stone faced, no connection between them, sloppy positions, little choreography... I wonder if the judges and I are watching the same thing.

I think Hao really want to improve that,but dan do not know what to do.

I think the most over-rated peformance was Plushenko's at the olympics. I think he's a grate skater, but he didn't interpret his LP at all. moreover if the chorgraphy isn't interpreted, it's worth nothing. During his best peformance (artisticly) of the "Godfather" program was at the 2005 Europeans, but he got way less than at the plympics.

I voted other, I think Jeff Buttle is overrated he has nice spins but his programs leave me confused.

I voted for Zhang/Zhang, as for the skaters subjected to voting in this poll they are THE most overrated with regard what they can really show when it comes to presentation.
But in each competition there are skaters that are overscored in PCS to me:

Men: Joubert. No doubt about it!

Ladies:... Mao Asada (probably I would be crucified now by 99% users of this forum ). Somehow I cannot get the 'hoopla' around her... Although she has huge technique capacity, it is not the same when it comes to presentation. For me, she is far behind Shizuka Arakawa, for example. Her programes are ok, but.... she just does not have "IT"! I think she was overrated in PCS at SP at 4CC.

Dance: Domnianina/Shabalin (but sometimes, not always). However I have another couple that is hugely overscored in PCS.. It is Faiella/Scali. I simply cannot enjoy them dancing, although I am trying hard.

Other, Caroline Zhang!!! Yeah, I get it, she's flexible, but it doesn't make her musical, or artistic, or anything. And her skating is sooooooooooooooo slow and her edges really weak, and she has such a blank expression on her face the whole time she skates, and her "in betweens" are practically nonexistant, and I could go on and on about how overrated I think she is and how laughable her PCS marks are. Sorry, I know that probably comes across as harsh and mean, but its pretty much how I feel when I see the marks she's getting.

ETA: For me, Virtue & Moir would be second in terms of being waaaaaaaaaay overmarked. Totally don't get why their PCS marks are so high.

ITA. I was watching him from the stands in Torino and during his footwork sequence he looked like he was trying to swat a bee away the whole time. It did not go with the music at all, so I think it should have reduced his interpretation mark, even if it was level 4.

Among current skaters, I think Pang & Tong are a little weak this year. Or maybe I just can't get past their terrible cut of music in the LP. Caroline Zhang might be a bit overmarked as well.

I have to rethink this posting after watching the world championship exhibitions. His performance was fast and brilliant. He really took my breath away. I think my problem with him is his music selections?

I voted for other, only because I couldn't make up my mind; the 3 mentioned in the poll are all wayy overmarked in PCS, almost equally. So, my vote stands for all 3. Honorable mentions would be Carolina Kostner, sometimes Tanith and Ben, and Stephane Lambiel (this past season at least).

Navka and Kostomorov or whatever his name is. Totally undeserving of any medal and olympic title. They are the worst olympic champions of all time. Never should have been near a podium.

I must say this was an extremely tough call for me. All 3 of these are very close in this regard. The PCS of all 3 are an insult to the credability of the sport.

Hi everybody - I'm a newbie - just joined today - my third post:

I kind of agree with this, but I voted Dom/Shab since I think they are the most blatently overmarked. They're not even the best Russian team out there.

I agree with all those on the list. None of them do anything for me.
KVDP is the most overmarked skater currently IMO. He's slow and his choreo is bad. Higher PCS than Patrick Chan is an absolute joke.
Caroline Zhang is also overmarked as was Sacha Choen. They have flexibility, but their jumping technique isn't great and their edges are bad. I'm not impressed by either.
