Dai isn't pulling a Plushenko by calling his Bronze medal a "Dark Gold" medal, is he?
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
Not to worry, by 2014 sliced bread will be toast.
If you mean Dance-V/M, they haven't announced anything yet. If Pairs-V/M, than they split up after the Olympics. D/D are sticking around for next season.
Stay until Sochi
Men: Kozuka, Chan, Schultheiss, D. Ten, Fernandez (and all the guys who had their first senior season this year)
Women: Asada, Nagasu, Leonova, Gedevanishivli, Lepisto (ditto)
Pairs: Denney/Barrett, James/Bonheur, Barazova/Larionov
Dance: Davis/White, Samueslon/Bates, Crone/Poirier, Cappellini/Lannotte, Boborva/Soloviev
I meant Dance-V/M. I thought they stated at post-event press conference that they are thinking of taking a break. And I thought Bryce was actively looking for new partner?
Are you forgetting about all the Russian Wonder Babies who are already better than Leonova at the age of 13? Makarova may still be around in 2014 but Leonova I seriously doubt will be able to beat those youngsters once they are age eligbile.
I wonder if Miki will stay with Morozov now that he is confirmed to replace Kudryavtsev in Moscow and will move there permanently to train on his own rink?
Also, a lot in Russian camp's future depends on who will replace Piseev. The usual favoritism towards certain coaches will probably end no matter who the new head is. The pressure will be huge to sweep in Sochi and a lot of money will be poured in the next 4 years into this sport there to get the results.
Who will coach her???
Who will choregraph her programs???
Button's back to back Oly medals are GOLD. Dai could tie that.
I really have no idea how many of them are gonna be age eligble or will survive puberty. There's four of them right now, right? But I don't think Leonova's gonna go away even if they do beat her (see Suguri).
Agree with above, I think Zhang /Zhang, and Pang/Tong will stay tooStay until Sochi
