Who do you think will win ladies at worlds?

As to the poll, it won't be Kwan -- she's not on the U.S. Worlds team. Don't know for sure if Irina or Sasha will be there either (they might retire after Olys.) So I voted for "other."

Well, I took a chance on Sasha. Unless she wins Oly gold, I think she might go for it. But what the heck, if Irina feels good she might just be in that hunt too. Who knows....but it will sure be fun to watch.

In Sasha's AOL interview she said she was going to Worlds. I voted for her.

I think we should see who's going first before we vote. A lot of things change after the Olys. The people on that list may not even be there. And should Cohen win, I'm 75% sure she won't go to worlds.

Oh yeah- Kwan isn't even on the World team or listed as an alternate!!

I didn't know Kwan wasn't on the world team. I don't think Sasha will retire (well, I hope she doesn't) and Irina might, since she's 27 I believe. But we now know anyone can win.

I fully expect Sasha and Irina to both go to Worlds no matter what happens in Turin. Kwan is not on the U.S team for Worlds however. I think there could be an upset at Worlds though. Sometimes people are flat from the Olympics. Michelle was a little bit in 98 but won since she was so superior to either Irina or Maria that year(who also made major errors in the short to eliminate any hope anyway). Irina was strong at the 2002 Worlds but was still hungry not having won a big event, some others were a bit flat and it allowed Suguri to sneak in for a surprise medal and Yoshie Onda to sneak in for a top five.

Oops, I voted for MK, but I thought it was for the Olympics. I think Irina will win, unless she decides to retire before, and Sasha will win, unless she decides to retire too, and then it's up in the air.

I voted for Cohen. Slutskaya is definitely not going, nor is Kwan. I doubt very much if Arakawa will go, given the Olympic gold whirlwind. I also see Rochette and Suguri (if she goes) as strong medal contenders....

If Sasha stays on her feet through most of it she will win..lol If we see Kimmie landing those 3/3's I see her on the podium as well. It would be nice to see Michelle in the line up one more time... Hopefully, next year?

Everyday there is another information about Irina, if she would go, I would like if she would win the gold. I just her. Next one for gold is Carolina love: !!!) and maybe Sasha
