Who's Going to Worlds?

The practice pass is only for TD Garden. To get into Steriti you have to have won one of the few golden practice pass and have a photo id to match name on ticket otherwise you can probably just look in from the sidewalk

Can you get us a good quality pic of the golden pass? I can make my own copy......:agree:

This has already been asked a dozen times and is actually one of the FAQs on the Worlds website - no, Steriti practices are closed. Only those lucky enough to win a Golden Practice Ticket can go watch.

OK, I see it now...missed it the first time.....probably for the best...more time to rest

Easy Peasy! I am in!!!! LOL.....actually, the older I get, the more I need to sleep in the stands instead of going to practice.....:agree:

You should join me at Steriti then, for the ladies, at least. No rest for the weary here! :coffee:

A brunch before a competition would be a great idea! :)

What do you think of this hat? The only problem with it is you have to order a minimum of six and they are 25 bucks a crack....the good news is you can leave my name off and put on about anything you want.....and the more you buy, the cheeper they are. Plus, they have lots of figure skating designs under "sports" clipart". And the best news is that the design program is so easy, even I can do it.....

Btw, what I am thinking of doing is designing my hat, just like you saw in the pic...maybe a bit more elaborate, then taking a screen shot of it, saving it as a jpg, then printing it out and laminating it and putting it on a lanyard.....

But if you want real ballcaps without your name, which could be put on later by anything from a magic marker to an embroidery person, someone could get 20 of them for 13 bucks apiece....better than 25 bucks! And I am sure many of you could come up with much better desgins.....

Designing a hat would be lots of fun! I've done my share of T-shirt and sweatshirt designs for clubs/events before, and it's pretty neat! And even if hats are too expensive, creating fun designs for pins/lanyards are also great!

I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but SO JELAOUS of all who will be in Boston, especially these who have tickets to Ice Dance competition - I'd give almost everything to watch it live...

Go to it! Just go to the link in Post 649 I made. RushOrderTees isnt the only one out there doing this kind of work, but I found the design interface very friendly to use. PaulE used lids.com, who has 23 stores in WA state alone, mostly on the West side. Just use the store locator on their website. I am a ball cap guy....I probably have dozens....and I like the way they block the glaring lights in an arena....

My go-to place was the food court in the train station (North Station) below the arena. There's Dunkin Donuts, McDonald's, a pizza place, a sandwich and smoothie shop -- lots of choices and at non-arena prices.
Thanks for this advice! Do you happen to remember if you were allowed to take these food or drinks into the stadium?

No outside food is allowed into the arena. The North Station food court is a good option before heading in or between events.

Yes, I pretty much gulp down my food. :)
Would anyone of you like to meet in the food court after the short dance on Wednesday? Just to hang out - an informal introduction to let off some steam/frustration and/or celebrate.
I really need to go back to the hotel and check in but I'm so worried of missing the opening ceremony so it'd be best that I stay close by.

Not sure if this is where I put this but I have 2 extra tickets for the pairs free skate. If anyone is interested please message me. Thanks!

That's a fantastic idea. I'm game.

I'll keep the brunch idea open for anyone who wants to join.
