Yikes - In "Hot Seat" At Work!

Well gang, more work woes. Just when I thought the dust was settling. I was informed the other day that someone I work with (could be my new supervisor) lodged a complaint about me. They are calling me agressive! Honestly, I started laughing when my Director told me. Usually people are pushing me around! Also she said something about my attitude. I have a really good work record and have never had a problem with anyone before. I have to go to a meeting tomorrow and meet with some of the bookstore hierarchy and two people from HR and my Union Rep. I am scared!!! Pray for me folks!!

I might have told this story before, but about 11 years ago, my boss didn't like my attitude or work ethic. When I left the company, she hired two guys to replace me. :scratch:

Thanks guys. It was awful. Basically my new Supervisor is trying to make me look bad and is gathering information from my fellow employees behind my back. I was even accused of "throwing bags" at the students . I did smile at this one. There were other allegations that were not factual and just totally outrageous. Anyway, I endured the meeting and explained my position. I told them that he makes me uncomfortable and I can't perform my job to the best of my ability because of his overbearing presence. Now I also have to worry that my coworkers are running to him and reporting any little behavior trait that they don't like. I feel as though I am being brandished as a "crazy lady." I am working with my Union to get this thing to go away. I am hoping to be transferred to either the other Campus I used to work at or even another dept. I could use a change anyway.

I had a problem like this at the beginning of 2007. My supervisor was being nice to my face but then trying to stab me in the back when I was walking away. Anyway, I had to get the union involved and of course since she was not being factual about what she was saying, I won. Turns out that unit I was in was not a right fit for me.

Since that time, I have gotten a promotion and I am considered one of the best workers in the office...yes I am...that came directly from the director!! She told me!!

So keep your head up. There is a a reason for everything.
