Bebe and Ashley skated better than expected. Both skaters have excellent programs; Bebe delightful; Ashley dramatic. Pick your choice.

How would Bebe have done without that silly Fall? She landed on her heel and like Lambiel that is an automatic Fall as well as a deduction.

I do believe Ashley was under scored. She skated as though, it was a practice run through, imo. Hope she is rested for the LP.

Evan was not at his best and it cost him.

Jeffrey' first half of program was super and nice to see him skating so well again, but some of those jumps n the second half need work.

ANY clips for Cynthia! This is her best skating in some time so it would be nice to see it.
Note as well had she not gone for the 2L on the end of her combo she might have placed as high as 4th or 5th since she lost 3.43 just for that one error. So overall that was a good showing for her.

Thanks C_T_T_ for the Cynthia links, I just love her!!! Joannie, Cynthia and Jessica Dube are in a league of their own in Canada as far as pure skating quality .... I could watch any one of the three of them do nothing but stoking all day - so graceful and elegant !!!

I just don't know when to start counting the revolution. .

Don't look at the ice because you will see so many skaters in prerotations before they they get airborne. But no one ever complains (except me) about prerotations not even judges.
