Well, it's easy to say that a precedent should prevent it from happening again but think about your own life. Have you ever had something almost happen and you rejoice that the worst did not happen and yet years later something very similar did happen. After all the intervening years would cause you to forget, especially since the almost did not actually happen.
I thought of this a few days later when something happened at work. You'd think that if someone orders and pays for something they wouldn't leave without right? They've paid for it, they want it , how could anyone forget? Especially when there were other people in the vehicle. Nevertheless they drove away and had to phone and come back for it over an hour later. And this was fast food. Eteri and Yulia did end up being reminded about but it was too late. Why is it so hard for others to understand, have you never forgotten anything? Never been late for something with no way to get there on time? Told someone you'd do something only to forget, or remember to late? If the answer to everyone of these questions is no for your entire lifetime then I guess someone else can criticize them but I can't imagine any human being never forgetting anything.
