Yulia Lipnitskaya

what were you saying about me, bad things? I'm the one with red hair next to my friend in red and white jacket, after Stolbova/ Klimov, from 3:43 in front of two Russian girls.

I found you! And no, not bad things. Wondering if we could spot you in the audience, if you got to see Julia, if you'd thrown your present today, etc. ;)

Was that a triple loop-triple toe I saw?

Yes, as the first cascade 2A-3T didn't turn out (only 2A with step-out), jumped 3Lo3T - I think, it the plan "B" for the program.
As I also told, Lena it won't be simple to beat - good luck to both in LP.

Only a .50 lead. As in the SP, with a 1.50 BV gap, it will come down to who goes the cleanest. Good luck, Yulia.

It's probably Irena who oversees the English chat on her fan page. When Yulia first comes off of the ice she is eyeballing her so hard  whoever it was gets :points:

The fastest and with more ice coverage i saw were Yulia and Elena. Ashley too is fast but she skates more in one part of the Rink.

Although her last SP was great, I think this time she was more complete in matching the tempo of the music....there were some pieces of choreography this time that weren't present in China...it's great!

I see that they sent the intense looking guy coach this time too :p I hope that whatever it is he is there for, it'll help Yulia kill it in the free skating....which I will not be viewing live this time due to how I almost had an aneurysm from the anticipation and subsequent trauma of the Shanghai event...sleep for now -_-

Yay! Congrats Yulia fans with well deserved second place. And Yulia will skate at GPF!

I slept thru it  This is all she needed to do. She still seems to be having jump issues with her new boots and losing some good points because of it but I fully expect to see her continue to improve. It's amazing how competitive she still is even when she is off of her game. Most skaters would kill for a silver! When she gets back in top form she is going to light it up!!

Once this Romeo and Juliet is fully realized and performed to its potential its going to be something to see.
