Yulia Lipnitskaya

Mishin is not unique in that though, and it's not like he has been succesful with all his skaters in that regard. See Gachinsky and Yagudin, for example. Nobody has the perfect recipe for these things. It depends from many things, and it should be mutual between skater and coach. What I mean is that sometimes the methods of a coach works for X skater but it doesn't for Y skater, for example.

Hello from Russia! Sorry for my English in andvance. In Russian forums appeared next information. Julia will stand for Kazakhstan. Her next coach - Rafael Arutyunyan.
What do you think about this? Is it real?

:rolleye: I think this is false. No way the Russian fed would let her skate for another country.

The link doesn't work... maybe it's because of the geographic zone..
You need to register to see the forum. I don't see it either, their registration is too complicated for me

:drama: The rumors are getting out of hand lol
And some people though Yulia going over to Chaikovskaya was crazy. A day later, people are saying she's moving to Kazahstan

With all due respect, but this must be a silly prank. Can Yulia even represent Kazakhstan in the Olympics? What are her ties to the country? I find it hard to believe she is going to Rafael, because in one of his interviews he criticised Russians a lot.

If it is true, my mind will blow.

Unfortunately you don't know our fed.. Anyone can be ruined by the behind-the-scenes games. Besides there are a lot of talented girls except her.

Yes, but what I mean is that they would let her rot rather than let her skate for another country. No way they will release her, or anybody else for that matter.

Really, move to another country seems a decent idea, but with Rafael?, after Ashley´s and Rafael´s interview?, ok, crazier things has happened in figure skating.
