Ok, I just discovered this and I’m shocked with surprise. I was looking through some fan photos of Yulia on Instagram, specifically this account https://www.instagram.com/lipnitskaya_fan_2016_/ & I came across a photo of Yulia and her new trainer (the one working with Urmanov & who she hugged during Russian Nationals). Apparently, the photo was taken during the Sochi Olympics (when Yulia was with Eteri). It turns out, Yulia’s current trainer was the attendant who opened the door to the ice rink for the skaters during the team competition. If you look at the video of Yulia’s Team FS program at the Sochi Olympics, you can clearly see him as the attended who opened the door for her (right before she goes & hugs Eteri). I think it’s so crazy how at that time, he was just someone working on the sidelines, she was the starlet, they didn't even know each other (at least I think they didn’t), and now their working together! Who would have thought! :reye:

Yulia is the first substitute for Russian Ladies at Euros. I hope none of the girls gets injured, but I will go to Bratislava and I would love to see her skating (crossed feelings)

I'll try :) But they chat quite a lot, and most of it is just plain silly, so just the highlight, ok?
- Saying 'bye' to the boys, they'll meet later on.
- They joke about how Yulia lost a photo of her with some girl called Milana in her iphone, panicked and made Vika look for it in her messenger.
- Vika is asking Yulia to wave for the camera, Yulia: "I'll think about it".
- Vika is stretching, Yulia: "dont break on me there, I don't want to carry you back".
- Vika, reading from periscope: "I'm not stupid, I'm Vika", Yulia: "what? you are stupid?"
- Vika: "will you give me a discount or will you sell your mom?" [it rhymes actually, but I have no idea what it's about], both laugh
- Vika, reading from periscope: "are we in a training camp? haha", Yulia: "nooo, can't you see that we are at a resort? It's only minus 25 degrees here!" Vika: "right, the sand is so white... and so is the ice, and the salt"
- Yulia, adjusting the faux animal ears on Vika's hood: "Nobody can see your ears. How can one live without ears?"
- Both laugh at Vika telling how she woke up at 4AM because Yulia was running around the room desperately trying to find a wifi connection.
- Vika makes fun of Yulia being "the star of Special Olympics 2014".
- Someone ask them what kind of music they are listening to. Since the room is completely silent, they make fun of it, ending with Vika asking "ok google, what is good music?"
- Vika rolls around, with Yulia making fun of her and calling her "a figureskating sausage-in-dough".
- Vika notes that it's cold, with Yulia feeling Vika's neck. Vika makes fun about her mom telling her not to sit on a cold floor "because you wont be able to give birth later" and Vika was "mooom, please, don't say it in front of everybody".
- Yulia jokes about someone (some guy on the internet?) has better lines than her.
- Yulia notes that they should be home already for 20 minutes, and "what are we still doing here?", Vika "oh, we are practicing", Yulia "right, because we are the most hardworking over here".

I would've thought Liza would be the first sub. or maybe they could send her to Worlds, depending how Anna does at Euros?

The subs list on the website is according to alphabetical order. Only Rus Fed knows who is the first sub.
